After losing on the bubble on so many freerolls I finally made the money in one.I placed 8th in a freeroll with 7500 on full tilt. I got 5.25 from it.

I'm pretty sure full tilt is giving a 5 dollar bonus for playing rush poker if you get 10ftp. I could quick fold my way to those ten points without losing more then a dollar, but I'm not 100% positive there still giving that bonus. Does anyone here no anything about that bonus.

Also what games would you play with it.

I was thinking some .25+.05 sat to the daily dollar and 1+.1 90 person SNG.

Any other ideas,,,

CANT POST ANYMORE

they only let me post 7 times a day for some reason..

I was only going to play rush for the bonus, I would just quickfold until i got 10ftp, but i dont know for sure if they still have the bonus,

I would not suggest rush. If you are a better tourney player then those you mentioned above are good.
If you are better at cash tables they have 2nl.
Either way gl.

Play the 10cent rebuy (but w/o rebuys) & those $0.25+.05 are okay too.
GL!!
I wouldn't play the RUSH tables. Way too ez to go busto in one hand (I've played it some days & been up 4 buyins in 45mins. & then on another day I lost 3 buyins in 3hands!!! one was set over set, another was a boat then losing to a bigger boat on the river & the other was a turned nut straight, getting 140bb's in in a 3-way pot, having two villains with sets call and then lose the monster pot as an 84% fav.... f dat! lol.
with 50 bb's you won't have the luxury of even trying to play a hand without some spewage or without basically playing hands with intentions of getting it ai (ie. you play a hand, fold flop, you'll be left bein a SSS & then who knows?).
THe $5+ was a grind to get,... keep grinding it out with it! GL!

Kids, don't do crack poker. That game is pure evil and you will lose that $5.00 in no time.

Play some low buy-in S&Gs... lowest variance.

I would not suggest the Rush tables unless you're a really patient nit. Personally do not like those games. It's like watching paint dry. If you get real active, you have no reads to really be able to out play people. :(

I strongly suggest to continue playing your freerolls until you've earned at least $20.00 or more toward the bankroll. Upon doing so, you may play live cash for the absolute bare minimum possible or micro limit tourny buy ins. Remember, play for the least amount possible ( up to 4% of your bankroll ). This level of play is somewhat frustrating I know, henceforth why it's referred to as the grind!:musicus:patience is the name of the game here. Good luck.

You should play more freerolls and build a brankroll of at least $20 before playing cash games.

I decided to play some 9 man SNG. Most of them were Sats to the daily dollar, but I played a few 1+.20. I didn't do too well, but when I was done playing I broke even and was still around 5 dollars.

After I played that I played a 1+.10 90 person Sng where the top 18 got paid.

I had a good stack all throughout the tourny and made the final table with around 50k. Which put me in 3rd place.

-After 4 people got knocked out I was dealt KQ suited on the button.
-The action folded to me so I raised 4 times the big blind to 12000.
-THe chip leader, who was in the small blind pushed all in for 75k.
- The way he played the entire final table and the fact that he just lost a lot the previous hand I knew he was trying to push me off my hand so I called.

-He flipped over J9o, so I had him dominated.
-9 came on the flop, 9 on the turn and it was over.

I still managed to get 6.30 form it, but I was so close to from being in the top money spots.

Oh well, I'm up to 11 now and I'll probably go back to 9 man Sng, hoping my luck will change.

You've done well. DON"T get in a rush to build your BR faster.

Avoid RUSH games, while they can build a BR very fast, for MOST players RUSH will eat those BR so fast the players never saw they were the feed wagon.

I've been the feed wagon for the last 7 or 8 sessions and my BR is decimated............:(

However. Play Money RUSH games will satisfy the action junkie in any of us while preserving our BR's.

I never actually play Rush. The only time I think about it is when full tilt offers a 5 dollar bonus for earning 10ftp. I could earn those 10ftp by quick folding and not lose more then dollar. So I would basically gain at least 4 dollars by doing absolutely nothing.

A couple of questions for ya. How many blinds did you have left in your stack when you woke up with KQ otb? Did you have intentions of calling (prior to making the raise) if the BB pushed back on you?
If so, then why not just shove it allin preflop?

I had around 15bb left. I wasn't totally committed to the hand, and If it was someone other then the chip leader in this situation I may have thought twice about calling. But, like I said earlier the chip leader made weird plays throughout the final table and I just had a feeling he was bluffing. Turns out I had him beat, but he sucked out and beat me.

I played some more SNG yesterday and managed to build up to 17.00.

Does anyone know anything about topshark. I looked my name up on that site and it ranked me as a 2 star King in SNG. Just wondering how accurate that is.

Ok so after I got up to 17 I've been playing mostly cash games at .01/.02.

I really can't stand playing .01/.02 because of the all the bad players. Most of the time I will get my money in good and then get beat on the river so many times.

I got up to 24 but now I'm back down to 13-14.

I guess I have to just keep playing .01/.02 until I can move up to the next level.

you gotta keep grinding .01/.02 it will pay off... or you could go back to the 1.10 sngs but thats risking a lot of your bankroll

Short stack 2NL with .40 buyins. Just shove all-in with 99+, AQ until you build up to like $20, then start buying in for $1 and grind away.

Just my idea, prob lots of routes....could even keep playing freerolls but that's a huge grind....

OR call me crazy.....you could deposit!!!!! Reap the benefits of a deposit bonus...actually build a roll for more than $.00000001 per hour.

Well I pretty much went broke yesterday. had 60 cents left.

Luckily I had 5000 academy credits so I cashed them in for 5000 ftp.
I had a total of around 5800 ftp and I played four 275 ftp sats where the winner gets 12.

I won 2 of the 4 and I now have 20 bucks and still have over 4500 fTP.
