I´d say the least you should have is 60bbs on each table so thats 240$

And how much could a "good" player expect to make a month 4 tabling .50/1.00 NL for say 20 hours a week, in a month? If that makes any sense lol.

At least 2k, 20 x 100bb buyins.

think this is not enough to overcome the big swing.
would think that 40 buyin at least
depends on the variance of the table you sit on.

but think 4K bankroll is at least.

Unless you are a good player, 50/1.00 NL may be to high.

Try much lower and build your bank to a level the guys recommend.

If you can't beat the lowest levels you have no show at 50/1.00 NL.

about 1.2k if your talking 6max getting about 80 hands an hour per table with a 5bb/100 winrate......as you see lots of variables and winrate being of big importance since you could easily have a month playing that much and lose 1k it just depends on how variance could strike....I mean 24k hands a month is a decent sample if you grind it out for a couple of months it would give you an idea of your winrate at the stakes and weather you should stay there or drop back in stakes.

As suggested however you could always start lower and work your way up, it can also depend on which site you plan on grinding on as some are softer than others etc.

My BR is $2,500. I four table on .25/.50 .

It's not just about bankroll, it's also about winrate. I can win apprx. $30/hr fairly consistently in this system.

When I play higher stakes, I have to play more thoughtfully. I can't four table 1/2. I'll play two tables. And I generally have to be more selective about what hands I play, what position I play, who I get involved with etc. The swings become larger and I'm not convinced the profit is higher hourly.

So it's not just about bankroll. It's about level of understanding the game.

I will play $30 hyper turbos, and occasionally open a couple tables of .5/1.00 Zone poker to mix things up. Or I'll play three .25/.50 and one .5/1.00.
