This is relative ... It will depend on what is best for you ... seek to know how the day to day who plays each modality and your affinities with them ;)

First of all you're not gonna really maximize your "Income" at the .01/.02 level of cash at Stars, unless you are crushing It for like 30bbs over a decent sample. Even than that's like $600+. So the question to "Maximize" shouldn't really be what you think of but more so, what to play "In-order to move up limits", than you can think of $$$ as the more you move up In limits the more $$$ you can make. Take also Into account that playing 1 table vs 12+ and for prolonged hours vs short hours + number of hands you can play per month are all needed Information. This Is of-course assuming "You're only gonna play cash", and nothing but cash.

Now same thing applies with tourneys but they are somewhat different as tourneys aren't really about, how many hours you play but about the level you are yourself are playing at. For Instance If you are better than your competition you face on average, than you should actually "Cash" more "Relatively speaking", yet In MTT's the thing Is (Especially) at the micros, players tend to be more of a "Station/Sticky/Nuttier" than you can expect, thus this will Indeed Increase your "Variance"+ you need to run well enough to actually run deep In MTT's and that Just doesn't happen often enough for the regular Joe. Also would like to ask, when you ask the question, "What to play to maximize my Income"? What do you think Is a good Income? 5k? 10k? 100k? 1 Million? Theirs a difference between winnings and/or Poker B.R. You can win a 20k GTD and feel like you're on top of the world, yet realistically speaking, a 20k GTD Isn't that much money to be won In the first place? Now winning a 20k GTD and using It for a "Poker B.R" could go a long way.

Same things apply to STT (Sit-N-Goes), It all realistically comes down to ROI at the end of the day for MTT's+STT's, and Buy-In amounts. Without really knowing exactly how many "Buy-Ins" you have and/or want, than how can we know to really give you an Insightful answer to your question

I would play your favorite games and then take a look at your results with a program and then play whatever is most profitable for you. You could check out what your bb/100 is at different cash game stakes and then play the stake that yields you the highest profits. If you are more of a tournament player then I would check out results and play the tournaments that you are most likely to cash and has the highest return over a period of time. I think it differs for each player depending on their style so there might not be one single income maker that is best for everyone but you should be able to figure out what makes you the most money and then do that. I personally play cash games because I like the consistent profits which are usually smaller but you might be more of a big score tournament type.

If you're making this type of money every day, than why even ask the question In the first place:confused:

I'd echo the same question. You didn't say for how long you've been having this kind of success though, i.e., has it been sustained or not? If the former, clearly the next step is to move up to a similar SnG with a higher buy-in.

Hi mrbonnell198 and welcome to Cardschat. I don't really think any one here can tell you which games or what site will work for you. You have to find them yourself. But there is a wealth of advice here on about any questions you may have. GL to you

By playing on other sites. Find a game that suits you and then find a site where there's both games and opponents are much worse than you.

Generally I think MTTs are best bet. Not easy to crack by bots and lots of value, though downsides are obvious: they last longer and have higher variance.

Assuming an ROI of +20% (not that likely if the OP is asking the question they have initially asked in this thread), they'd have to be playing ~200games/day.
(if ROI = +10%, it'd be ~400 games per day ... 20-tabling for most of the waking day, aside from bathroom breaks & occassionally jamming down a sandwich or two... maybe a few slices of pizza?).

If you're making ~$100 each day on $2.50 sng's, I'd suggest sticking with them & even staying on that same buyin level. Maybe add in a few more games each hour though.

i am not sure if someone posted this because I am too lazy today to read the whole thread - but what about looking at instead of maximizing your wins, minimize your loses. To do this play low variance poker:
1. Play limit or pot limit instead of NL
2. Play non Texas Holdem games, or if you do play TH play small ball style
3. Play smaller tables for cash (6 handed or heads up) and smaller tournaments (sngs, especially 6 max or heads up)

doing this will exponentially minimize your loses

The golden rule in poker earnings is from what i ve heard : Dont fix it if its not broken. So my advice to you is to remain on those 2.5$ sng and just grind them. After months or so u may want to try 5/10$ sngs .Good luck
