i dont much care for these selections at all but here goes.
1.? when starting for sure esecially bigger events getting behind is never good when playing junk. A side note on that depending on blinds structure tournament etc.. You have to play a style that will win overall. I am a person that believes final table 1st or 10th I will get the cards and win so patience mixed into aggression pays off mostly for me.
2. You have to adapt your game to what is going on. I will risk almost every time over being blinded to nothing. Is just my style now most times I got a callable hand and often that works out.
3. I dont care if im first or last in a tournament best advice of life given to me was you cannot win a tournament thats not a sit and go within the first hour.
Patience and perseverance I always say. Patience to wait on what is needed to get there and perseverance to overcome the losses defeats bad beats whatever. The other thing is playing aggressively. It really does put most players into a corner where they go into a shell especially when deep. The shell I mean is waiting on kings or queens well yesterday I took down an event both times aj and was betting every hand about 3 to 4 times big blind they waited folded folded folded caught there monsters but an ace flopped.
I would personally rather push when can instead of waiting and hoping to poker gods for a win.
