Are there things to look for in seat position even though the button continues to move?

Yeah, basically you want to be to the left of the more aggressive players as more often then not you'll be able to act after them and have the advantage of not being 3-bet by them. You should be able to get max value from your strong hands when they are betting into you.

Sitting one to the left of the "fish" at the table can be good. You can isolate him by 3-betting his bets so everyone else folds and it's just you and a much weaker player playing heads up

Seat selection is one tactics in poker.

Personally, I like weak tight player to my left and LA to my right.

If you are so good, you can select any seat because you can easily adjust and adapt to situations.

If everything is equal I like seats 4-6. I seems to be able to see all the players from there.

I like tight players to act before me (i.e. on my right), as they are much more predicatable and therefor give me lots of information before I have to commit money to the pot. I hate bullies on my right, as they often make me make plays I wouldn't normally do (which is why they adopt this strategy).

I also agree with me is my favorite 12551255 4-6 but then I can play a lot better if we had more people at the table you can not follow everyone and often I run into something so when I'm angry at myself

I'm in the minority I think, in that my LEAST favorite seats are 4-6. If there are railbirds, those are the seats where you are most likely to have someone standing behind you. And, I often feel a little more cramped there.

Sitting on the "curve" always makes me feel like I have more elbow room just BECAUSE of the curve of the table. Your knees may be as close to the person next to you, but I always feel like I have more arm/shoulder room.

But, I'm really an oddball, because sometimes I prefer to sit in the seats on either side of the dealer! (I think for most, these are the least favorite.) The two main reasons I like those seats are: First, I only have to protect my cards and chips on one side. Second, I feel a little more "stealth" in those seats. If I can't see everyone, they can't see me either. There's something unnerving about being raised by someone you can't see.
