I think you mean tight aggressive it means playing only premium hands but playing them aggressively. Raise pre, then c bet post flop. Imho it is a good idea to play any hand youre going to play aggressively, call fold is a losing proposition. Good luck.

He said this is referring to post flop play though.

I don't know what it means for sure, but I would assume it means to look for the best spots to be aggressive. So not only do you have to consider your hand, board texture, and your opponent's range and tendencies, but also history with opponent. Like if you have bet and gotten someone to fold 4 times in a row, you might want to make sure you have a strong hand before you bet into them again, because you can expect them to play back at you. And in the same situation, you might want to play quads aggressively when you would normally slowplay them, because your opponent will give you less credit if you've been raising and reraising a lot without showing down.

This is normally the case, but not always. When you're in a spot where villain never folds a better hand or calls with a worse hand you're better off just playing passively and taking your showdown value. This usually happens against competent players.

Take Dan Harrington or Jesus Ferguson as an example.
It basically means to pick your spots carefully when you play TAG style.
