What I don't get is their early tourny success. I play mostly MTT and will watch the other tables. Some of these people can play any 2 cards and do and hit for a ton of chips. In freerolls and microstakes it is not unusual to see someone 10x the starting stack inside 3 minutes. But they always fall off the board and out later. If you avoid them and wait, they can be good with any 2 cards for a double up.

It sucks, mostly I just want to play some normal poker, but feel like I get forced into stupid moves, and stupid moves I do to often.

I was playing the stars 18k yesterday and was at a table with 2 guys with a ton of stars circling their name. They were talking like they were pro's. They were building up some pretty good stacks. Their hand selection, position and play I found astonishingly bad though. Its pretty easy to make fancy moves when you hit your dream flop everytime. Both those players stacks were gone before the ITM. I used those stacks for 4 double ups to get ITM.

I did have a laugh when I knocked 1 of them out from the button. He went all in from MP, I called with Q-2s. He had 5-6s. I absolutely knew he had squat and was looking as usual for his dream flop. He came into the chat blah blah wa wa. But he forgot about the aces he cracked with J9s, or his 87s killing a set of K earlier. Ya just watch, pay attention, and when you see them start to fall, stomp all over them.

I agree with Steve_StudAA these type of players always seem to get lucky and beat better hands with rubbish, it can be very annoying, all one can do is wait for an opportunity to take advantage of their erratic play
another tactic used by bingo players it to hit lucky early and then sit out for most of the game, rules should be the same for tourneys as is for many cash games, sit out for a number of rounds and then be removed from the game, it would at least stop this type of tactic

It makes for early MTT misery. They often hit when you have a premium hand. You almost hate to play it because of their any two philosophy. Who wants to lose their stack at the very beginning of a tournament. The chance of doubling up barely seems worth it.

I completely agree with this.

I was playing the 7.50 buyin 50,000 chips to start last night, opened up the round to AA first hand from the button. Considered folding, then realized I was not playing on 888 and went. 1 PF Raiser, I went over the top, he went over the top, we ended up all in, I doubled up.

Than sat there and watched as any potential for a starting hand would of required a 4 bet to start. I think my best opportunity was to call a 4 bet with AQs from the SB, which I did not. In the end my VPIP was 5%, just never had an opportunity to get in many hands at all. My point, I may as well have been sitting out, but I did not, I manually clicked fold for the next 150 hands or so. Ended up out of that 1 before ITM.

They can be a pain but they can also double you up when they don't make their hand. They do make it interesting as you witness 64s beat AA and similar monster starting hands but it happens.

We didn't love the bingo players , but think twice you can get the best combination , and you will get some moneys from them , anyway if they will push against you with K4 , and your hand is AA. I think this game will be profitable for you.
Thanks.

Well, if you're playing freerolls or super micro stakes poker and you just want to improve your game and play good poker them I can see that it would be pretty annoying because they don't play 'proper poker' but there are valuable things to be learnt against these opponents such as what hands you are willing to get in vs an any two range for 100 big blinds or whatever. However, the good thing is that it is very easy to make a great deal of profit from these sorts of players because what they are doing is obviously super exploitable. If you pick your spots right then you can get in some great spots. I love when this type of player shows up on a higher stakes tourney- they are the closest thing to free money you're going to get ;)

Don't hate on them too much- if it weren't for bad players then the game wouldn't really work for profit ;)

I played The big bang main event 5k , and on my table we unfortunatelly had an idiot bingo player . He had called to 4 bet with J7 and won the AKs of the other player . If I had played a suited connector I would have thrown him out for good with my straight to his Ax sh*** , but unfortunatelly I didn't , instead I lost a flip , I got frustrated by his gameplay when he tried to steal my blinds with idiotic way , I shoved pocket pair in position , he called with K 10 the stupid donk bingo , but got lucky again , hit 2 pair and won me .

So , another time , I will be waiting for the right time . I htink you need patience with donks and bingo players and when you have the good hand , then strike mercilessly , bet for all his stack , the donk will call most of the times if he has sth , then yes , enjoy every moment of his defeat  .

Generaly, i don't complain about this players, because the option to go in All-in at any time is part of the No Limit Hold'em game.

You need to understand that the way that they play is shortsighted and terrible. The software isn't rigged, and so you should be super happy to find a player like this and get it in pre with 60-80%, which will make money in the long term extremely fast. The percentage is the percentage, they are no more lucky than anyone else. ;)

Is easy to see this kind of players when you play freeroll or microstacks.
You only need to be pacient and play with monsters hand. Play in position is very important too.
This guys can't get lucky all the tournament, they fall early

Most of these players play this way because they can't play post-flop... It kinda evens out the odds against experienced players by not allowing them to see the flop before committing to a hand... sucks tho', because it can actually prove to be very effective...

it would be nice to have tournaments that are pot limt preflop and no limit after the flop to avoid all this players who shove all in preflop with any two cards and get lucky postflop.
