So you know the answer to nr #3, so when you first are at it why don’t you give us the answer to the rest? :)

Yes they are.
It's all the same question.
The answer is don't risk your bankroll too much, play games you can afford within your comfort zone and try to grow your account slowly. :)

When you have less then $50

In all seriousness though this is all dependent on your roi, standard deviation, and what kind of risk you want to take. A good player can play with far less than a bad player can simply because the swings that would be long losing streaks for some would be breakeven for them. Also it depends what your goals are. Obviously a pro player isn't playing $2 buy-ins, but if you just wanna have fun you can play $2 tourneys on a $2 bankroll. If you want to build a roll you should have more buy-ins while if you would die if you lost your poker money obviously even more. Sorry but when I see a fixed number of buy-ins as a fixed rule for all brm it just ignores so many important details so I tend to make sarcastic posts like my last one.

I think like zach said it all depends upon the player but also not everyone is just going to play tournaments. some people prefer cash games so there should have been a question about that. Anyways answer below.
1.) 2%
2.) 1$
3.) they dont have good bankroll management.
4.) if you drop below 100$
