I'm at a point in my game where I feel I can not win anything.

I think is because I come from a major losing streak.

I wonder how do to cope with this, and stop thinking negatively????

albosaltenio: I think you need to review your strategy during the Tournaments. I play in a Table with you, and I think you play too many marginal hands. Try to play a little tigther. :deal:

if I do not deny it, play marginal hands many times, but now I can not win with AA, I was missing a little study but I think the soft considerably increases the variance. I can not believe some payments made , totally dominated and they win:confused:

Playing AA does not guarantee you'll win the hand.
Sure, you are ahead a lot of times, but there's not a single starting hand that has a 100% win rate.

What's more important is that you don't start to play differently because of a downswing. Check your hands, let them be reviewed by others on places you're not sure on how you should have acted, and if your play is correct, it is bound to change for the better again!

Take a little break. Sometimes you play so many hours for so many days that you poker skills loose effectiveness. You loose the capability of analyzing your cards correctly. Then, start again...

Take a break - then try some more...

Best to take a long break - for the rest of the day or week depending on how fast you can get over the bad beats. If I loose 5 or more tournaments in a row - I as well need to take a break and get all that negativity out of my head. It is a hard thing to do, keep playing when your always getting busted by better hands (even when you have the better starting hands, but the river busts you every time!). I got lucky last night, for I played 4 tournaments and lost and said last one - Only to get a win - made my night - and wasn't a large win, just an .11 cent tournament ticket, but a win is a win - made the negativity go away and bring some happiness back.) - That is what will bring you back - a win - which after waiting a little while and getting the negative thoughts out, you may be able to do again. Keep trying!

Been there - a lot! Take a break for sure. I would also recommend taking some time to just watch other online games at your stakes level. Find the players who are consistently winning and watch what they do. It's almost guaranteed that you'll find they play very few hands, and actually take very few risks. They will limp in with mediocre hands at times, but they won't put much more money in to the pot unless they hit a good flop.

Without memorizing odds tables, be aware that draws are just that - draws. They have no actual value YET, so do not put more than the minimum into a pot chasing a real nice looking flush or open-ended straight DRAW.

If haven't already - set yourself a daily limit and stick to it. If things are not working out for you, then quit for the day when you hit that limit. If you're playing at a higher buy-in/stakes than the minimum, drop down one or more levels.

There will be many hills and valleys (mostly the latter) in your pursuit of fame and fortune in this game.

I think that you need to review some theory, watch others good players and etc. In this meantime stop playing just a bit, until the tilt passes by.

Other advice is stop going All-in to early, especially with monsters hands, this was something that I used to do, and, at the moment that I stop doing it I made my game better.

When I got here, I was in the same situation. I found here that the negatives are just taking you away from YOUR GAME. You are looking at losing your BR more than you are looking at what you can win. I got a lot of advice here, and I use it every day. Right now I'm working on position, range, and betting. And you are going to have to make some changes also. Pick a starting point, ask some questions, and apply what you learn. The hardest thing for me was to fight TILT. Took 6 months but right now I can handle bad beats because I know there isn't any thing I can do about it, and go on to the next hand. Poker is not something you can learn in a few days, so if you want to win, you will have to really get down to learning, and first off stop telling yourself you will lose. I was like that to the point I could not raise even with AA KK. Anyway, it all takes time. GL to you

If im on a losing streak its because im makeing dumb calls, and racing. I know when Im playing badly (That doesnt stop me tho) the best I can ever hope for is the discipline to play within my bankroll.

you might want to tighten up your range, playing a wider range opens you up to oftento lose small to marginals hands and after a year of two of that those little incriments add up to alot of capital, also maybe you need a little break to regroup if this is hat you do for a living for income go take a vacation thats what i do then come backand tear it up
