Hey again I got another question for you guys.

NLHE 18ppl
Play money SnG
25/50b
7players
Stack-1200

Poketcards: Ac Ks

In the CO folded to me I raise 3xbb, called by Dealer in position Sb fold, Bb fold.

Flop: 4s, 10s, Js

-I check the flop because I'm out off position and don't have enough chips to make a move
-Dealer cheks also

Turn: 5h

Now I bet 200 in a 375 pot, Dealer min raise 400 making the pot 975. (I don' t want it to seem like I have nothing)
I fold my flush draw.

So my question is, did I have enough pot odds to call?

I know the pot odds where about 5/1 and I had 10 outs. So I' m thinking about 40% off the time I would hit my flush.Right?
Yes I did end up folding with all this in mind, but I only did the math after.
So give me your input.

Ps. the way I calculated my % " outs X 2 on the turn" "outs X 4 on the river.

Thanx

I'd probably call in your spot here. Just because he raised, doesn't mean he holds two spades. I'd probably put him on two pair at best here, but most likely he's got air.

Worst case scenario is you make your K high flush, and he has the A, but again, I don't see him checking the flop with position and the dry A. You are getting almost 5-1 pot odds, and you might be able to extract a little more on the river (though I would check-call his bluff, since he won't be able to resist a bet on the river most times--betting out exposes you to a crazy raise if he does have the A. I'd also like to think that if a Q comes, you are probably good, and might even take the pot if an A or a K comes.

All in all, checking the flop and playing out of position have out you in a tough spot, where you have almost no information--but going on what's happened so far, I think if you make any sort of hand on the end, check-calling is the way to go.

you got 9 out to a flush and 3 more to a str8. and any ace or king could be an out as well. you could have as many as 18 outs here!!! i doubt there all good but i would guess more than 12 are good. so no way i fold. how i play this hand on the flop is to bet around 1/2 the pot if raised i shove. w/12 outs its 50/50 by bet/shoving you just put the odds in your favor because now he may fold X% of the time(which you would of lost 1/2X%). but to answer your question never fold. your most likely a favorite to win the hand try and get it all in now.

You did well. If I know well, you have about 33% to win after flop, 18%. after turn. These are not big numbers. Its pointless to risk a lot of chips for colours most of the time.
