What buyins for $600 bankroll???

Hi people, im opening an account with acr and im going to deposit $600 U.S, what buyin amount should i start with do you think?? Busted my roll on other site.

I think it's best to invest 10% of the total account balance.
It is not good to invest the entire amount in one tournament or 600$ a seat for cash games.

In general, for cash games you want to have AT LEAST 20 buyins, so that you are not risking more than 5% of your bankroll at a time.
This will help protect you against periods of negative variance.

If you are playing tournaments, you will need to be even more conservative, due to the greater variance, especially with MTTs

There's tonnes of good content on BRM online.
I would recommend not investing more than 5% of your roll at any time. So for cash 2/5c and tournaments $5 max.

The most important thing is the game for BRM.
In cash games this limit NL5

You can play up to six dollars in any mode.

Start out in the bigger cash games and move down if you start to lose your bank roll.

I would say go no higher than $5 for your buy-in until you reach $1000 then maybe move up to $10 and mix it up a bit between 5-10.
Try satelliting into higher buy-in games by playing smaller ones like $1 entries to satty into bigger games.

BI 10 is normal if less than $ 500 will then get down to the lower limit! More than $ 750 to climb up the limit!

100 time or 40 times of buyin for SNG
so 6USD or 15USD SNG game

40-60 for cash games
so NL10 or NL16

80-200 for MTT depends on entry
so 3 usd to 7.5 tournament.

I think play NL50 with 600 is fine.

While the bankroll advice offered in percentages is good advice, I think a better answer is what level can you beat?

To me it doesn't matter how much you can afford to buy in with, if you can't beat .50/1 for example, you shouldn't be playing it. Play a level you can beat and try to clear as much of the bonus as you can. Don't let ego bust your bankroll.

Thanks for the advice, deposited $600 on another site a while ago and lost it lets hope this goes better.

I think you have to specify the mode of play in which you are going to play cash, spin go, go go, tournament, etc. And there is to think of having a bank of at least 100 to 250 minimo

Play the low limits and see if you feel comfortable.

Study the game, have discipline and very calm to achieve your goals. Unhurried!

well you got to pick your tournaments wisely if thats what your playing. I would play anything up to 10 bucks and guars over 1k etc.... yet would make a schedule play same events learn the field take notes etc.. might start by playing some 3 dollar events 1k or higher for a couple weeks before moving up to six or 10 dollar events for higher guars

for cash games again 2 week rule start at 10/25 cent move up after a couple weeks if winning to 25/50 cent then again in 2 weeks to 50 cent 1.00 for now till comfortable are building your roll etc..
