What is the best strategy?
I believe that 90% more of the poker players are not professionals.
You do not have your winnings from only the poker games.
For those who work and study I would like an opinion to know how to master the schedules without influencing productivity at work and studies.
What is the best way to reconcile all this without tiring the head and the body?

Treat it as a hobby, if you enjoy it & are doing well, treat it as a serious hobby.

Treating it as a hobby is a good start. When you start to earn more than lose start to think about taking it more seriously gradually ...

I think there must be a lot more than 10% of pro players, I'm losing too much ... lol, it's just a joke.

Win as much as you can as often as you can. All the rest is details. ;)

Yes.

You can't do that. School and work are a waste of time that could be better utilized at mastering Poker. If you go this route, know that you are picking a damned hard way to make an easy living.

Sure, you hear stories about how some guy went to 'Vegas, played some Poker, and never went back home. Or how some guy with a minimum wage, dead-end job learned how to count cards at blackjack and never looked back.

Maybe it actually happens, but someone always wins the lottery too. The vast majority of Poker and Blackjack pros have gotten broke. More than once. There was that movie about the MIT Blackjack team and how they won millions. What the movie never mentioned was that the Team also lost millions. That's variance.

You meet smart doctors/lawyers/engineers/businessmen who could be good, perhaps even world class, but they will always be above average rec-fish for precisely this reason: it isn't worth it to them to make the dedication that Poker requires.

If work and/or school is your priority, then that's where you focus your time and effort. Poker comes after, same as any other pass-time. Half fast effort will make you a mediocre student (when you flunked an exam because you wouldn't pull yourself off on-line Poker). Or someone your employer decides isn't worth keeping on the pay roll.

Get used to it: balancing school/work and Poker will leave you a rec-fish with maybe an above average skill set that makes you break-even or a small winner.

And there is nothing wrong with that. If it weren't for rec-fish, I might have to start looking for a job :icon_puke

I'm not a student but in a youth had been a student. If a person is gambling in any case it would interfere with the poker in his life. In the studying spent more time than to work.

the more effort you put into it - the more results you will get out of it

To plan a strategy in your life where you separate your study time with poker, you must choose the tournaments that you are going to play in your spare time, if there a tournament that interests you you must plan your studies properly so that when you play you have enough time to Dedicarce full to the tournament

^This . If you have a job and you are student you can play in your free time some poker to earn some extra cash (or play as a recreational player if you don't mind/ain't so good ) . The better you become at this hobby the more time you might want to dedicate trying to become more efficient and profitable . The tournaments is a problem , I guess in the weekend sb can play a few .

This% is obtained because of the fact that most players ignore training in poker! If all were taught the game the figure would not be so terrible! Oh yeah! If there was a better strategy in the game all have played it! because such a strategy is not! But there's math, I do not believe in luck, and the 52 cards in the deck! And yet! The rest is your skill!
It is a long way from the style, then the hands, then to the range, and then to the drawing, and then to use! It is not easy! Now you make a lot of sense and is not present! But over time, you will not do anything and nothing will much! Good luck my friend and patience! Gnawed granite science!

It sounds like poker might be interfering with your work and studies. It shouldn't be that way. Reprioritize.

I agree!
There's no strategy in this.Don't exaggerate and play only when you feel like playing! Don't play when you are tired or you don't feel well!

I don't know if this help, I don't want to be spammy or something, but if you ever need some poker tips check this site PokerExpertGuide.com for inspiration!

Have Fun

Have fun. When you play poker and are not enjoying it then reconsider. Also pace yourself so you don't burn out. If you are having fun then just roll with the swings. Don't get crazy.
