I think the most favourable seat is the button. The button has the advantage that in every round he is the last player who has to make any commitment to the pot (the two blinds act last in the first round, but they have already placed forced bets). Thus the button can see how the other players have acted before he is forced to act himself. He therefore has more information when he makes his decision, than the other players did when they made theirs. Unfortunately, you can only play the button once every round, when it's your turn to deal!

The second-best position in a game of Hold'em is to the immediate right of the button. When the time comes to make a decision this player (often known as the 'cut-off') has more information than any other player apart from the button. Furthermore, if the button folds then this player will be acting last on every round.

Tell me what y'all think. [emoji4] [emoji4]

Button!

The button for sure. Something we all read when starting to learn, but eventually learn the hard way over time!

I agree Nikka, well almost.

Before the flop, the BB is last to act and has position on all other players. It's a great position to be in, late in a tournament with a pair of aces, and the button tries to steal the blinds.

However after the flop, it is the worst position (or 2nd worst if SB is in).

The best position in poker is the position "Button."
Since you start the move after the other players (who sit at the early, middle and late positions), thereby providing yourself with information about this or that strength of the starting hands of your opponents (and the ability to do stealing - steal the blinds from two players after you)

The best position is the one where you holding AA in your hands. On that position you can decide what strategy to use. Would you go all in, min raise, slow play, 3 bet, limp ... etc. Bdw button off course

the button seems a dangerous position .. (against weak players you must use it) but vs good players it is so used that it has become predictable in most cases of pressure, many times it has happened to me that raising the button has hurt me... especially in the final tables against aggressive players, i think its smart dont raise constantly from the button ... so, in my opinion the best position will always be cutoff .. i think its a more sophisticated and less predictable position.

Sorry BB is not the last to act best or strongest positions are the HighJack or Cut Off and the Button known as CO and BTN ; BB is BigBlind and SB small blind and these are the weakest positions

It depends a lot, besides the positions, there are other concepts, opponents, amount of chip, bet value. knowing how to use, all positions are good ....

The position at the table is simple and at the same time one of the most underestimated factors in the game of a lot of amateur players. The position is so important that often the hand can be won or lost only because of the presence or absence of a position, regardless of the cards on hand.

The sooner you start playing, paying attention to the position, the sooner you will start to win more money.

the button without question. Being last to act on all streets is a very powerful advantage in poker.

When evaluating the most valuable position there are two that I consider. One being the button and the other being in a straddle position. The advantages of being in the button over the straddle is that you dont have to commit any chips and still act late. The advantages of the straddle is that you are the last to act, and although you have committed chips without seeing your hand... The pot usually ends up larger than average by the time it gets to you. Depending on the range and play style of your opponents, straddling can see a huge roi or lead to increased losses. Being able to differentiate between ev+ and ev- straddling tables can make a big difference in your game!

No doubt that the best position would be The Button. You see all the actions and don't pay a thing. (maybe some ante :D )
