You could basically start with Freeroll Tournaments, watching youtube videos and reading books. All these facts could help you to perfect your play in poker.

Best Regards,

poker stars school is also not a bad thing to get into. in the beggining they have a lot of easy tasks for you to perform in exchange for tickets for nice tournaments

[QUOTE = georgi Krastev; 4382551] Hello! First you can start playing with Play Money. Know the software (if playing online). You can also read this, you can help.

It's a good start, you should try the daily carchat and pokerstar freeroll, watch videos on how to play and practice a lot of practice.

Study this forum, watch streams of professionals, practice everything in freerolls and of course get acquainted with poker maths

if you play in the freerolls that hace 2K ,5K,10K players dont expect to learn all that much except too see many just shoveall in with any 2 cards,
To learn the best i would try and play with less then 200 players, its more of a real game

Hello! Are your words intended for me?(As if I had created the thread and asked the question?)If I watch a particular game of a player, nothing means to me,this is his game not mine! This can not help me, because every hand, every time, is different in different ways develops !!!If a player does not practice, there is no progress! Thanks!

First off you need to ask yourself what are your ultimate goals. Do you want to just get better while playing for basic entertainment? Do you want to improve your cash game ability? Or is your ultimate goal to make a living playing?

Once you've answered this question you can focus on games and strategies that will help achieve your goal.

And don't forget to get a good reading background on different poker theories. Reading is fundamental.
Good luck.

Since it is available to you I would recommend the PSO. Also a wealth of information and knowledge is available to you here on CC so take advantage of that.
As others have already stated books and youtube are also great sources of information, welcome to the grind.

Improve, study, pay attention at the table, play a lot, most anything or anywhere will get you started.
Perfect your game, dream on.:)

Hello! I agree with you, but only if the player there is no discipline!
Playing on the wrappers so you do not reflect on the hands. Playing a bluff there is very difficult, and it is very favorable reception in the later stages of the tournament.

Practice makes perfect

When i started out over 10 years ago, i started watching final tables on pokerstars to get a feel of what it is like to play real money games, admittedly final table play is unrealistic as players ranges are so wide at that point unless they are laddering.
My advice? - if you are a pokerstars player, join the pokerschool and complete their courses, play free rolls and also read the articles and forums on cardschat - there is so much education out there..
A further useful tip is to join twitch and see how the pros play..really valuable coaching

Best wishes

this ^

'Anywhere will get you started' and if you are just starting out I'd suggest making a small deposit online ($100) and start off at the LOWEST limits (on cash tables this would be $0.01/$0.02 blinds, bringing 100 big blinds to the table ($2.00)). Know that if you move up in buyin levels the ability & experience of the players increases (starting out at even just $0.02/$0.05 would be too difficult).
If it's tournament play you're interested in, start out playing $1.00 buyins and no more than $2.00

Online you get the oppurtunity to play many hands & can gain a lot of experience quickly. Also, when starting out try to stick to one format... ie. cash games 'or' tournament play. If you mix in both before getting good at one or the other, it will be detrimental to your progress.

good luck

Get better

Decide which game you want to specialize in, then study it. cash, MTT, SNG, 6 max, etc. Learn basic odds and counting outs, pay attention to hands you are not in.
