I never took any courses, but I watched a lot of live poker tournaments and saw what mistakes the players make, better learns from other people's mistakes than on their own):)

I recommend pokerstars courses ... there you can increase your level of play, and they give you free tickets to put into practice what you have learned

I use Advanced Poker Training and Tournament Poker Coach -App. I have seemed them very helpful.

I have training routine every morning of reading poker books, watch poker videos using training software before I start to play poker.

Red chip poker just released a new course called Core and imo it's pretty good. It goes through the basics and advanced concepts in a pretty nice order that builds upon itself so you really get to use what you learned previously. You get your first week free when you sign up so it's really worth checking out

The Theory of Poker by Sklansky is the best book on poker ever by far.

I began my poker career from taking courses from pokerstrategy.com. Then I lost my 50$ which I was given) For now, I watch videos where pros play, some final tables with comments and play myself learning mostly from my own experience.

Hi Hugh,

In response to your question "what is the best online courses or training for poker Who is your favourite?" my opinion is there isn't a clear "BEST." The online training sites have different strengths/weaknesses and are valuable also according to what skills you want to further develop. If I have to pick one site then Advanced Poker Training (APT) is my choice.

APT has certainly helped me with pre-flop card selection by making me more aware of what hole cards in what position most players are able to play successfully. At times I think that this knowledge has influenced me to be too tight, so I'm constantly working to find a balance in applying the knowledge (which APT assessed >100 million hands to come up with).

I use APT to attempt/learn/perfect new strategies (for free) so that I can then apply them in games for real $$. The trends we hear about in vlogs/forums are scary to first try with real $$, APT provides a way to try them in a simulator without busting a bankroll.

Finally, before I play for real $$ I will play 100-200 hands against the APT artificial intelligence (AI) in an effort to determine if my decision making seems to be good. If I'm having a good day - then I go for it, if I'm not, then I save the $$ and go on a hike instead!

Hope this information helps!
