The tourney buy ins I like
The tourney buyins listed above are for SnG's (I'd assume STT SNG)... I'd suggest 50 buyins (instead of 40). For tournament play (MTT) you're looking more at 100 to 200 buyins.
and the NLHE seems very conservative
20 buyins for NLHE cash I would think is on the aggressive side. I would think most would want at least 30 buyins.
can prob get away with 60 pct of bankroll for NLHE if you are a good or very good player but being conservative with bankroll management is ok.
I like them as well and probably my favorite game to play. But wrecked my bankroll by not having enough to take in a big downswing as there are a lot of flip situations.I like Hyper SnGs. I get paid quicker
If you are good at Hypers I would recommend them.

Also for BRM. Even if you have a lot of money in your bankroll, don't play limits that you know you can't beat. You will be throwing away money if you play $3/$6 NL just because you can afford it. Learn how to play the cheaper limits first.
Sometimes the cards just don't run well and you can lose 5 games in a row due to variance
Bankroll management is basically playing at games at a certain level so that you won't go broke from a bad losing streak
I think the rule of thumb is to never buy into a game more than 5 or 10% of your entire bankroll
