Most of the times I finish my tournaments chasing tha straight flush. I will end up in 95% with a Monsterdraw (straight and flush possible). Most of the times I flop the monster and I am all/in or call the all/in. It feels like the board could have 7 cards and it still would stay a Monsterdraw. If it is all/in preflop, the last card to build my monsterdraw comes on the river, just like they want to show me, that they can do it whenever they want and ALL DAY LONG. Is there any math or logical explanation, that can teach me, why not to play or follow these hands?

What are you talking about? You went into the hand Q9 suited vs. AJ os. You are a dog heading in. You happened to flop a str draw and get a flush draw on the turn.

Yes you have a lot of outs but in no way are you a big fav.

Try having some jerk call in preflop, you with ace rags and you have AQ and you still lose. (Just happened to me)

His kicker even made 3 of a kind...

Poker is about luck. So don't worry about coin flips that you don't win.

Here's an article to look at. Your odds of hitting are only about 65% from flop to river (assuming you're allowed to add the two %'s together).

I'm having a hard time with this myself. I see the possibilities on the board and I'm usually the one who is raising only to whiff completely.

As you have quoted you have never been in front in this hand. You where chaising you oponent. 43% for a all in is not realy a good call in my opinion.

Whenver vI play suited connectors and I am on a draw I do not keep in the hand if the board is paired any paired board I let down my draw and let the villain takes my chips do not keep calling for a dream and never go all in to call your opponent for such kind of draws to limit your losses.

Conector card

I love playing cards with connectors, I prefer to play these cards than an AK, the best way to play is to leave the pot cheap and let the players raise it. I slightly like the style of Daniel Negreanu and his theory of small ball
