I need your opinion what would you do in my situation.
I was in tournament ( ~ 1500 players, rebuy) and last 2 hours when blinds get high, the guy sitting left to me reraised AI every time I try to steal. He has about 1/2-2/3 of my stack and I had not any good hole cards when I has opportunity to steal, so I folded every time.
I thought that he cannot have strong hand every of these times and just reraised with ATC, so when I go KQo and he reraised again I go AI. He has AK and win and I lost 2/3 of my valuable stack.

Was I just unlucky ?
I was stealing with standart 2BB raise all the time, cause I haven't any good hands.

What would you do ?
Drop all attempts to steal with weak hands ?

It was first time when someone defended blinds so fiercely.

Drop all attempts to steal with weak hands, if your table image is good attempt steals with weak hands every now and then and if re raised fold.

i've had trouble with this situation too. Obviously it is impossible for him to have great hands every time he gets the blinds. So if its literally every time, looks for an opportunity to double up on him, as you did. you raise, he goes all in, you call.

As far as stealing blinds, how is the person immediately before and after the all in guy. if the guy right after you is very tight and not doing much until he has a primo hand, consider stealing from the CO.

When blinds threaten to eat your stack, there are no other option but steal ;)

sometimes need luck too to win, i´m OK with you defending with KQ against a player stealing all blinds because most of the times you will be ahead, unfortunately this time the villain had a better hand!!

Yes, I think you played it right. You know that he is going to go all-in whenever you make a small raise, so wait until you get a hand; then call. Yes, you might get unlucky (either he hits his Q-7, or unlucky because he wakes up with a monster). Due to his actions, I think you would be ahead the majority of the time.
