I'm curious why you don't upload it to some place like blip.tv or vimeo.com in addition to the download site? Those site provide code to embed the video in your blog.

Looks good, the audio quality is good. My only concern is with you playing on 4 different tables the images are pretty small, maybe try encoding to a higher resolution. Other than that its pretty sweet.

I hope you don't mind! I transcoded it with mediacoder (free open source) to Flash format and uploaded it to blip.tv. It was about 182MB and after the re-compression with h.264 into flash and the audio with MP3 at 64kbs I got it to 91MB with very little noticeable change to the audio or video.

Anyway here is the link: http://blip.tv/file/1868522/

Wow! This Blip.TV is great! I'll definitely be learning to use it in the future.

I guess I'm "old school" and have just always recorded in AVI. My skills are tuned to the AVI format and I am used to the adjustments for audio and video. But after seeing this, I think I'll have to learn how to use Flash. I have a couple of encoders that allow me to convert to Flash, but I just haven't tried it out. But now that will change. Thanks.

I dunno. It looks fine to me when in "full screen" view in my player and on Blip.TV. Maybe try "full screen" on yours. I know the HUD is a tiny bit blurry, but I tried to verbalize them enough so the view didn't matter as much. But like I said above, I'll be working on improving my videos in the future. Thanks.

Anyone have any comments on my actual play that they'd like to share now that it can be seen on Blip.TV?

General thoughts:

Turn on auto-reload.

Don't worry about dollars as you're playing. You mention money several times after you lose a pot.

I think you're ch/calling too often OOP. Try leading the occasional flop with like middle pair with a FD on board.

Your turn bets are probably larger than they need to be. Remember you don't have to bet a lot on the turn to deny someone odds to draw to a flush or straight. I think you're blowing a lot of people off of hands that might call a slightly smaller bet on the turn.

@ 7:00 in you fold KJo on the button with a handful of limpers in front. I'm always at least calling there and usually raising.

Same table on the next hand, you can't check behind on the river with top set. Chances he has the flush are slim to none after he checks the river but he's soooo bad and he should be pot committed that he'll cal with just about everything.

@10:50 you consider raising a short stack with AT but don't because he's tight. Honestly he'd have to be amazingly loose before you should even think about 3betting there. AT against an EP SS should be an instamuck imo.

@12:00 I like cbetting the K high flop with 88. Even against 2 players. The flop basically only hit their ranges if they flopped a set.

The AT hand at the end you're almost never getting called by worse there when you bet > full pot. He either folds or doubles there imo.

Definitely you need to turn on auto reload like Hillbilly said. Take my advice with a grain of salt, this is just how I would play the hands and they might not always be the best way.

At around 7:00 on table 2 you have KJo on the button, I'm raising that almost always to try and isolate one of them or just take it down preflop.

Table 2 again at about 9:40 just put the guy in, checking there with top set makes me sad if he hit his flush he's usually just shoving the turn because you can't really fold.

Table 4 at 9:40ish again you call with 39s, I'd just fold that even though you're getting 5:1 or whatever. You say you should've folded it I figure I'd just say it again.

10:30 I'd probably steal with A7 but not a huge deal.

Download an AHK script that automatically clicks the time bank for you, I use StarsAssistant

At 13:20ish you have 77 UTG, you raise because the table VPIP is 11%, that's fine but I would definitely not be playing at that table after I saw that. Maybe you just didn't want to move around tables too much because of the video though.

13:30ish on table 3 I'd steal with K8.

15:10 on table 1 you check the fold button with 97, I'd consider stealing there if it gets folded to you, even though the SB is a huge station there's no harm in playing a pot in position against him.

19:00 on table 4 with AJo I'd probably raise, you have a poster and a limper you're going to take that down so often.

19:50 on table 1, fold the A4 it has no value in a multi way pot really.

at 20:25 I don't really like putting the short stack all in with 2nd pair

I lold at the guy showing up with 26s at 30:30, probably should note the guy min 3bet with AA.

AQ at 31:20 if you really think the guy is on a flush draw I like check calling and giving him a chance to bluff. He might have checked behind with KQ there though.

The AT hand at the end is kind of tricky, his stack size makes it difficult because if you bet and he shoves you're getting pretty good odds to call. I'm not sure what the best play is there it just sucks you were OOP and he just called pre flop with AK.

Overall I think you just need to try stealing more and isolate limpers a little more often. Hillbilly mentioned that your turn bets are a little on the big side and I agree with that, other than that I think you played pretty well.

Not much has changed around here. Things are still pretty cool. Glad to hear you are back into poker.

Well, we did the brewfest last year too:

https://www.cardschat.com/forum/community-hangout-4/post-your-2008-cc-reno-meetup-117826/

But the beer wasn't up to par and folks started talking about going to Vegas this year sometime during the wsop. Vegas rooms seem really cheap right now, but I haven't seen any other discussion on the forum about it and it's only 3 months away. I'm not the lead on this one, so I dunno.

So who knows. Maybe it'll be Reno again for us semi-locals. Dunno yet.

LOL. Thanks man. I actually trained as an on-air voice talent (aka "DJ") back in 1990. Check this out: http://stickspoker.blogspot.com/2007/09/sticks-audio-my-radio-spots-from-1990.html

I've never gotten the "Owen Wilson" voice comparison before. But people have told me I look a bit like Kiefer Sutherland from "24" and Stuart Copeland, who played drums for "The Police".
