because in a tournament turbo player tite or very tite can not good? this is a doubt that I have already saying, because every time I try or I'm seeing a friend who also has this style of play can not go very far, since the increase grinds very often.

Turbo events you need to open your range up quite a bit... I find them more donk show than poker.

i normaly dont play alot of turbo,s -when i do its normaly not a very tight game you dont have the time with blinds going up fast-i also think for me position becomes a more useful tool as well-knowing ppl will be trying to steal more and play looser than norm can be useful at times as well-esp when trying to defend your blinds

With turbos, the blinds increase so fast that you need to definitely open up more. I equate it with playing 9-max like a 6-max and playing 6-max like a 4-max. Still play only decent hands and look for spots to make a move, but waiting for premium hands will not work in a turbo. Gl!

I would encourage you to play tight for the first 3 blind levels and let some of the "all-in" fest to die down. After that, you should definitely open up your range to include more hands otherwise you are correct and you will get blinded out.

I agree with lordrobes. Stay tight for a few blinds, then open up the number of hands you play. This does not mean playing stupid, unwinnable hands

All right, not for nothing do they say if you want to earn a play in loose aggro style, as it applies to the losers)

I believe that playing one style of poker throughout will not result in victory. One should adapt playing styles throughout a tournament. If one plays tight rough out, then you are reliant on the cards being generous to you and the other players will very quickly assess your play.... Which results in them not calling you at all. If you play lag then you run the risk of coming up against a monster and your efforts come to nought. Switch it around depending on the type of game you are playing and also how the rest of the table are playing. Keep em guessing is how it should be.

It's pretty important to adapt your style depending on which stage of the tournament you're in, at the beginning there will always be people who shove light, just ride that phase out and after that play a little looser.

Observe table dynamics and widen your range whenever necessary.

Widen range without getting caught in the chip toss

In this type of format people will throw chips around quite quickly because they know they have to widen their range. The key is still to pick your spots and keep from getting caught up in the all in traffic that happens every other hand in the early stages.

You should to try to be more active on a turbo event , because if you play very tight is impossible to win such of event.
I think tight style is not good for turbo events , because as a lot of players told you already you won't have time for blinds.
Thanks.

I do not agree, despite what the structure of the tournament, if it slow tournament, the tight style is well suited. And the need to vary the styles depending on the stage of the tournament

Yeah, Very tight = loser in most of a time, especially in turbos, as very right player, if you fold 14 hands in a row, and got AK in 15th hand, and shove all in, i can bet that you will lose in 80%, that is my opinion about how PS card software function, i feel it in my skin. More hands you play, more chance to win. I prefer loose game and big range of cards.

The problem of being a tilt player is that you are shown when you enter the hands with many ups and games that somehow is bad because your game is easy to read

If you are always tight, you don`t go so far because poker is also maths, so sometimes win strong cards and other times lower cards.

the tight players, never make bets on the flop , turn or river , if they have a really strong hand , so it's very easy to know when they have good play and if not , therefore never going to get the most out your hands

I agree with you , and a player that is easy to read , will never be a winning poker player
