The table is 8 handed blinds $4/$8 and everyone is very deeply stacked (over 200xbb) and the action has folded round to you in the cutoff. You look down at Ah 6h and make it $25 to go.

The button, SB and BB all call.

The flop comes 6d-5h-3d

SB checks
BB bets $77

You decide to call but both the button and SB fold.

The turn is 6s

BB fires out $202

You call.

The river is Ks

BB bets $539

What`s your action here?

FYI The BB is a very loose player who has been getting involved in lots of hands. He could have pretty much any 2 cards. He`s also an aggressive bluffer capable of firing bets with nothing but air

what would you do

i called and won by the way

i dont know if i would have been in intill the river the BB was getting very good pot odds 4x his money i dont know what to put him on but there where a few hands that could beat your A 6 pocket 3s, pocket 5s, 6 3, 6 5, 4 7, pocket kings, i wouldnt know what to put him on with the pot odds he was getting before the flop.

Hi, I'm new here, just found your post and thought I'd offer an opinion.

My guess is the guy was on the flush draw, possibly the straight draw as he was in bb and being very loose aggressive could have held any 2 cards.

So he was probably betting his draw or trying to buy the pot, got lucky and hit his K on river. Just a guess.

With 2 diamonds on the flop I'd probably have just called as well. When you hit trips on turn I'd probably have just called as well to entice him to bet again on the river (which he did) and make sure another diamond doesn't hit, since it didn't and the K didn't help with a possible straight draw then I would have reraised him at least half the pot.

If the guy wasn't so loose aggressive I would have reraised on the turn.

Not sure if others would have done the same, just my opinion. :D

Hi.

With three of a kind of course I've call.
But you're right, when you play agains players that doesn't have a discipline and always call everything you may be craze, but I think, in the long range, that you always win more than loose.

Bye.

^^^ agree with this. Difference for me is that I would have pushed all in once I hit the set. That might be my loose PLO talking though.

you have to remember when playing the very aggresive players your not going to get payd off on draws as much as you would if you hit the nbuts. i say let the agressive player bet into a made hand.
