When working a bankroll its expected to go up and down correct? How long is an average incline or decline? Or is it more a case to case basis? Is there anything I can do to shorten the heigh and or steepness of the declinez? Or just hold strong to your game?

Yes your bankroll will vary.

1) There is no average incline or decline it depends on your level of skill
2) There is nothing you can do to shorten the height and/or steepness of the decline unless you improve your game

The higher your win rate the smaller your drops will be and the bigger your ups will be. Conversely, if you have a low win rate and/or you are a losing player then you will have relatively larger drops and smaller increase.

Hope this helps!

To shorten the steepness of declines you should always watch yourself to stop playing on tilt. When you got bad beat you often want to get that money back quickly, which leads to mistakes and losing even more...
So, stop playing, analyze your game to find out if it really was a bad beat or your weak play (if this is the case -> improve your play ;) )

The frequency and magnitude of downswings will vary with your skill level *relative to your opponents*, not with your absolute skill level. The better you are in a relative sense, the smoother and steeper your bankroll curve will be, with fewer and smaller dips.

Everyone will have some losing sessions no matter how much better they are than their opponents, but if you look at somewhat longer periods, there are players out there who, for example, have gone years without a losing month.

Well if you look at it from a long-term perspective (ie large amount of hours played), it could depend on your own skills, the stakes you're playing at, and the types of players. If you have some losing sessions in a row, you need to figure out the reason for those losses ie: whether you were playing on tilt because of a beat or if you went card dead, etc.

Swings are perfectly normal...happens to all players...But only best players keep to the minimum those swings, so the best advise i have for you is quit when you feel that it will be a bad thay for you and comeback next day. New day other luck. It will save you lot of money. I learned that with worst way possible.

Good luck

Play the players look for exploits, it important you dont just get into the mainstream grinder mentality, of right and wrong odds, correcy play etc.

because you will break even.

you need to exploit bad play and play your table always never ever play the same in every game this firstly makes you predictable and secondly loses you profit - you will become too concerned with the right / wrong play.
rather than the right / wrong player to make money from and how
