What is the minimum bet on the flop if you bet on preflop holding like AK, AQ, AJ, then the board is dry like 9,5,4 on the flop you dont hit your high cards, isn't good to check? or how much pot you bet when everybody check to the flop waiting for you to bet as an "original raiser" What strategy is it a good advise to the rest, turn and river if you really dont hit at all?

As for turn and river it depends on your table image.

When he raise double to your half pot bet would you call or snap fold? And if you call his raise double and the turn give you a a hit(top pair good kicker), or flush draw, or the tough spot gutshot draw like 9,4,10,J and you hold AK (if you check he will surely bet or go all in "would you call?", but if you C-bet on the turn and he go all in, would you call to see the river? flush draw same situation need 1 card more on the river to get a flush. he chip covered or not, he bluff or legit, would you call to see the river?

Once someone raises your cbet with AK on a dry board it is time to shut down unless you have the raiser pegged as a nut.

these type of questions dont really have an answer

it all depends on the situation

how much did you raise preflop? was it a reraise? who called? how many called? what is your image? how did you previously play a hand like AK AQ AJ that went to showdown?

these are all factors that should be considered before deciding how much to bet or even if you should bet

if im heads up i usually bet but sometimes i check

again depends who im playing

key is not to be predictable

if you feel like you cant push your opponent off the hand then you shouldnt bet the turn and river

try for a showdown at that point who knows AK high might win

but also realize if your opponent is maybe trying to do the same thing with bottom pair or something

then try firing again but not if hes a calling station

Your action next would be dependent on so many things.

So vague above because of no chip stack numbers, number of players involve, position, etc.

I think c-betting or checking can be fine depending on what you think your opponent will do and what you want.

I generally like c-betting. Because I'm also C-betting TT+ here. And I expect I'm getting called by any pair to the board, overpairs, but also a lot of draws and simply naked over cards like AQ. So, yeah I'm folding worse - but I'm not often getting money from worse anyway. But I'm setting a pattern that allows me to get more value from JJ+.

Cash game:This is a standard cbet situation.
Tournament: Need more info.

The more specific you are with your questions, the better your replies will be.

Totally agree with this.

In cash games I'd make my standard Cbet most of the time unless I've developed dynamics with other players and based of what they think my ranges are and stuff like that. I'd also check here sometimes for deception and protection of my range.

In tourneys, it depends on a LOT of factors. Versus weaker players, I'd Cbet 1/3 psb and expect to take it down. Versus regs, I'd act based on dynamics and how he perceives my range and what he thinks I'd do on turn with a hand like AJ, what his range is, whether he floats a lot and fires a lot of turns, etc etc.

Against a single opponent I would cbet very often. If you're multiway it depends on the other players and I would ask myseld following questions: how often do they fold on such a board and what is you'r position?
