Hate this combination!
Often with good start hand (QQ or JJ for example) I was afraid to get top pair on the flop and did not attacked. Then it came flop with smaller cards. Of course I pushed all in and got 2 pairs of my opponent.
Unable to recognize this combination on the board!

I also do not like to play these hands. but you have to play aggressively and often make a push on the flop.

have to protect quality starters imho especially in mtts ...you have to bet enough to get them off of the just a call because ie: jack 3 offsuit. You need to chase those out but your looking for cash or to cash in for quality hands so you want a call or I do at least. If you kick out all weak ace hands imho you've done the best you can. If they have a king ten you have aa and king ten four hits thats just poker and something that happens you accept it and move on.

Will bring up look at the flop after you bet if there is str8 or flush combinations depending on your chip stack opponent tendencies etc.. you have to figure out what to do. If i get a three card flush flop I tend to fold even top to pair often. Is depending the depth and experience of the opponents im playing with.

I think after the flop is harder to figure out but if your playing decent stakes with decent opponents you can get folds etc.. if you run into two pair is just another dimension of poker overall is like if they chase you down for flush draw or inside str8 etc.. Note it move on:)

In my opinion no one on a question of the guy not answered)
He clearly asked how to understand what your opponent has 2 pair on the flop?

in my opinion you made the right play. It's real hard to tell what an opponent has, especially if you had to act first. even the best hands at the beginning can be crushed by luck at the end. Accept the loss and keep playing!

I would make a strong rise in preflop with a monster cards, do not let to the villains enter to the flop cheap way, "Pay for it if u have cards to do it, villains", dont let to them see the flop free...
