At low stakes I really like turbos. So few players understand push/fold or ICM that you can get a big edge with just basic strategy. Gotta make sure you have the bankroll to handle the variance though.

Playing regular tournaments with a slow growth pattern blinds can only play strong hands. Turbo structure is a lottery.

I like turbo SnGo' and regular MTT'. Some low limit Turbo MTT's are fun sometimes.I would never put a lot of $$$ in a Turbo tho. Good Luck Out There

I prefer regular speed, becouse there you can play some poker without push/fold and with larger range of hands. However, if you dont earn a plenty of chips in the early stages, it will be just the same to turbo tourney.

Hyper and turbo MTTs. I value my time and wish to get as much as I can out of it.

Regular tournaments are good for newbie though, as it let you play more than some quick turbo tournament and gives yiou more time to learn by playing.

In turbo if you make a mistake or get a run of bad cards it can be hard to recover. Regular will be a little more forgiving but requires more patience.

I reccomend regular tournaments cuz blinds are 10 min instead of 5 min. Its more likely to recover after loosing pot in regular MTT-s and if you have time you should play regular MTT-s if you dnt then play turbo MTT-s but in turbo MTT blinds are faster and its much harder to play and win the money. also i reccomend regular SnG cuz there is a better chance to recover after loosing big pot and the players are playing carefull and not like donks.

I prefer regular games. But sometimes I play turbos too. In regular games you can really use your skills. In fast STGs and specially MTTs, you really need a bit of luck in inicial stages. In turbo MTTs, the maniacs players rules the inicial stages, and you can't really play real poker.

Hyper are definitively out of my interest.

I think you need to play regular tournaments with deep stack.
But if you have little time to play Turbo, Turbo-3x

Prefer Regular... Turbo just forces me to play in a style that is not natural to me. If you are a LAG then Turbos are probably a good format but I play very tight so they don't suit me but I play them because they seem to outnumber Regular tourneys... Presumably because they ramp up the rake quicker for the poker rooms.

I agree with Tosh. I prefer a regular tournament. LAGs would prefer turbo.

If you are good at ICM play turbo's and you like to gamble a little, if you have more patience just play regulars
