re: Poker & Trying to learn fundamentals, need more good reading material.
It depends on what you're playing.
If NLHE tournament poker (mtt & sng) is your preference, I'd recommend Phil Gordon's 'Little Green Book'. It is very well written and will help to give you a good foundation (there's very little math in it but what math there is, is explained in simple terms).
After that book I'd read Harrington On Holdem Vol.1 & 2 NLHE TournamentPlay.
If SNG's are your preference... you can't beat Collin Moshmann's SNG book.
I've read easily in excess of a few dozen poker books
and the ones above are the ones that I would recommend (NLHE tournament play).
Alot of the books I've read I've managed to loan from the local library on an inter-library book loan (they seem to be able to get me just about anything). Same for poker mags. - - the local library in town here now has a subscription to Bluff Magazine (I'm the only one who loans it out, lol)
