Hi I play at a local casino where the blinds are 25/25p or if your American "cents". Everybody literally does not care about pot odds they play super loose and maniac aggresive at times, they mainly limp pre flop the whole table that is, then when the flop comes the action gets heavy, if you raise preflop you get about 4 callers sometimes more so everypot is multiway. People dont fold much there calling stations but have a tendancy to bet when people have checked. I have tried playing tight mainly playing pairs, big aces, suited aces and Broadway hands in trying my best to play for position but I find when I flop say middle pair there is alot of action and I'm in a tricky spot. I've seen pots end up at £45 when the blinds are 25p and they have shown down ace high or are playing the board. Should I be calling down more with weaker holdings ?? Should I do nothing but value bet?? Should I play a short stack and shove with big pairs and big aces so I don't have ti make desicions pre flop ?? Any suggestions would be helpful

When you play really low stakes like that, you're going to run into a lot of "maniacs". If you want to avoid them, you'll have to move up in stakes.

There's no way to play is this kind of table without really good cards. And you'll need lucky. If you shove, there will be the possibility of more than one player calling, so the chance of a bad beat increases. But when this doesn't happens you will get a big prize.

By the middle stage of tournament ahead, these maniacs will be almost all eliminated. They never stop :D. Then you can starts to really play the game.

What I've noticed is big pairs are not worth much because there are so many callers, and that suited connectors and suited aces go up in value but you never get the correct odds to draw because people over bet the pot

What game are you playing? Is it PL or NL? If you are playing NL make your opening bets bigger with really good starting hands and don't be afraid to shove it preflop and take down a small pot. In PL this tables are AWFUL to play, variance is huge and you will take a lot of really bad beats that'll make you frustrated and potentially affect your game. On the bright side, slow playing and value betting get paid off HUGE at these tables so when you have the goods, bet it. If you don't get out. And don't be discouraged by the guys chasing their flushes and straights against your shoves, they will pay you off most of the time.

BTW I think you should consider raising 10x to start with your premium hands to widdle the field down, also make sure you know your pot odds and implied odds so you know when to chase your draws and when to wait! GL man!

Thanjay thanks for your input its a solid answer I'm going to try out the 10x raise, because I'm good post flop heads up but multiway I get a little lost. But I think ill value bet more and rarely bluff and see how that changes my results thanks

Good topic
The same happens to me but on online poker in noob sites, they play like home games drunk friends, all table limping and calling with the 3rd pair waiting for a set or hit two pairs, they call a river shove with 4 suited cards on board with a set or straight lol
Anyway a raise 10x with premium hands is a good idea and if you notice they are chasing a flush or straight you can overbet on flop and push all in on turn, they will call 70%+ times and you have equity like 80/20 favorite so good lucky :)
