Just to update this myself in case anyone else is wondering: Things have indeed changed on the training site front. DeucesCracked is still around but is focusing more on micro/small stakes now and doesn't seem to pump out the volume it once did. They're also offering 3 months for the price of two as of this week if that
tells you anything. Upswing Poker and RunItOnce are two very good sites for both live and high stakes players.
When it comes to a great overall site that will take you from literally learning the rules up through full time online/live professional, PokerStrategy.com's tiered subscriptions - although not cheap - are more than competitive in price and based on my research I'm almost positive this would provide the best return on investment for most of us. If I had to pick one place at this point, it's here and I'm going to.
Their Gold sub would cover everyone but the most serious players on here and it's $39/mo if you pay monthly. If you are more serious than that, they do have two higher plans that I believe go up to $99/month or like $700 annually. These, no doubt, would be sufficient for anyone at any stakes/games. Additionally, the software they offer - both free and commercial - their forums, the training courses they offer, the coaching by pros, etc - Is all just top quality with extremely heavy and active traffic/volume. I can't find a better overall
poker site at this point. Period. (PokerStrategy.com)
