anyone know a good strategy to win a tournament with so many players in it?
Ive just placed second on one yesterday and remembering past strategies that I've used it is a lot better for me to play aggressive than to lay back an start building chip stack slowly.
Let me know what you guys think and see if any of you have a better strategy to follow.

It is good playing your cards but sometimes I think it takes more than that to win a tourney that has 1000 players.

to win a big tournament you need to have a bit of luck as it is almost impossible to avoid flips throughout the tournament, but in general you have to have a strategy in mind and watch the play patterns of your opponents

Tournament poker strategy is the most straight-forward of all.Nothing special there.
Early on just play premiums and hands that can flop big (pocket pairs , suited connenctors), later when you get shallow (10-20 BB) find good spots to push and to call all-in's (follow your opponents tendencies, do they defend their blinds often etc.) and just get a good run of cards and win flips :D

That's pretty much all :)
