Stack sizes? Was there a preflop raise? Any suited cards(your hand or flop)? More info is always better... A8 is a very vulnerable hand even with an Ace on board as you have a shitty kicker, so all of the prementioned are important...

If you want a decent answer you need to include more details.
ie.
early levels of a tournament (no player reads), 3 limpers, we have A8o in BB.. flop comes A-T-4 (rainbow)....
Should we donkbet the flop? (should we lead out for a bet here?)

Better yet, the more info. you can post about the hand.. the better. Include stack sizes of all players on the table, size of blinds (level of tourney.. or whatever it is), reads on players, our image. Then post what has happened in the hand up til' our turn to act (or wherever it is in the hand that you have a question about).

"&" w/o knowing more details (but based on what you've given) I'd probably check/call this flop (depending upon the action ahead of me).

well everyone has a decent amout like 10k well i had like 7k.....and chip leader had like 20k...and another with 10k..
blinds are like 300-600. and the flop comes
A 10 4 rainbow.
i think the players were tight players cuz they dont call so many hands. but chip leader prolly was just calling. cuz he was balling.
and well i dint raise it cuz of my kicker. but should i of on most cases?

If this is micros i would lean towards betting 1/3-1/2 pot, only because we are likely to be called by 10x and Ax (smaller than 10) type hands, which are in their limping ranges, I would probably be folding to any substantial raise tho (which at mircos is almost never with air). at non micro stakes i would probably check/call flop.
Is this a wrong approach PO?

Down to a bit over 10BBs, I would have seriously considered shoving preflop here if I had a tight image up till then. If the limpers are tight as you say, good chance they all fold and you’re not dominated by anything that calls unless maybe 99 and A9, AT, possibly AJ. (Assuming better hands than that would have raised pre, and it doesn’t really matter much whether it’s 99 or TT-KK) But if they are the type that’d call any bet preflop with any PP, then you’re better off seeing a cheap flop.

As is, with so little left, you don’t have much wriggling room. It’s either all in or fold beyond that. If the chip leader is late to act and puts in a raise then I would just shove here and HOPE that he’s just trying to buy the pot.
