I could say, know your opponents and play them, find the fish and beat it, manage tilt but I guess you want specific online tips like HUD's and not just poker tips. So for online poker:

Track your opponents in sharkscope

Use odd calculator and icmizer

Take advantage of the many freerolls offers

Be a member of cardchat cause it offers best advices and freerolls

Be a member of multiple poker sites to get advantage of bonus and offers

Search for the softest fields in poker sites and games

Have an edge by having an expertise in a specific online type of game

Find the best rakeback offers

Ghosting so you dont get emotional or gamble

Use the autoexclude yourself when under tilt

:D:D

I read the article and find all 10 tips for appropriate and useful to follow.

As Debi mentioned already - the correct BRM is something should be add, and some other says also to learn as much as possible who in fact are your opponents. That could be learned in many ways, using poker ranking sites or some HUD tools, of course.
In the beginning I started to label and input some notes about opponents, but due to several problems I faced with pokerstars last couple of years - I was recommend to reinstall the software on more than one occasion, thus loosing all the info stored there - so I gave up from this at one point. In the end, when it turns to CC Events - I have direct experience with most of the members, so actually the written notes are not so necessary :D

the tips in the article seem excellent, I will provide 10 very interesting additional tips :)

1.- A very important consego is to have nothing pending to do, to have enough time to play to occupy all your mind in that tournament and not be worried about something that you have to do :driver:

2.- there are tournaments that beginners should not play, tournaments with RE/BUY and ZOOM

3.- Do not play many tournaments at the same time :stoned:

4.- Be humble and do not think you know everything, in poker every day you learn something new :D

5.- If you are going to sign up for an important tournament, make sure your internet is well

6.- If you lose a hand do not be discouraged, overcome it quickly :driver:

7.- If you are going to play an important tournament, just dedicate yourself to play, do not get distracted by social networks or chat, a minimum distraction will make you take a bad decision in any play :lollypop:

8.- Manage your bankroll well ;)

9.- Know your opponents very well at the table, that will give you an advantage over them

10.- Be aggressive and selective with your cards, do not pursue projects on the flop with many players in hand ;)

For me, winning at online poker encompasses a number of key points
1) No starting hand is unbeatable
2) Bad beats don't happen - variance and a mistake do. Learn to get over one hand and move on
3) Bankroll management is key - play within your means
4) Never stop studying
5) Review hands constantly - both your own (won and lost) and others posted and play out different scenerios to learn how to adapt to different situations
6) Stay away from jackpot SNG's and re-buys for now. Focus on strong MTT or cash play - but not both. Each require different skills to win

For me, winning online poker includes four key points,

1. Bankroll management is the key to success.
2. Never stop learning
3.If you decide to win poker tournaments, don't waste a lot of time playing cash games and Vice versa.
4.To stop the game in the state of Tilta Is the state of the player when he is not aware of the correctness of the actions taken at the table .The result will be a single loss.

A lot of great right advice. I'll add a couple more from myself:

Do not be lazy to read these tips above and think about what you can do in your game right now. It really works.

Keep your statistics. Keep it separate from the poker room and special programs - just write down your bankroll. This is especially useful if you play in several poker rooms, and also play different formats and disciplines. This will help you track where and in what formats you have great successes and where you lose money. For beginners, this will help to choose the right direction for development.

Always pay maximum attention to your bankroll management. This is the most dangerous mistake that very many players make. It is the insufficient attention to bankroll management that reduces all your successes and achievements to nothing.

If you are still building your bankroll (and this process can continue throughout your poker career) - be sure to use all the opportunities provided by the CardsChat forum. New knowledge, useful advice and the opportunity to win some money for development - thank you CardsChat!

Good points all of them.

I would give a bit more value to 1, 3 and 6 and I would definitely add the aspect of following a strict bankroll management, either you are a cash game player or an MTT player. I think that creating an uplifting work environment is one of the most underrated aspects of playing online poker. Finally, don't forget the patience factor and thinking long-term.

Never before has used the software for playing poker. There were attempts to master the holdem manager. Rather get from its use of the advantages in the game. However, from simple notes I got more benefits. In general, I need to get acquainted with the software, which was discussed in the article.

I think "don't be distracted" is the most important. Maybe "don't use software" but only if you want to be a good player. Not sure if it's about winning player.

Very usefull article, on one hand gives the physicall tips and on the other hand the software tips. We could also add the study of maths and the some behavior tips coming from philosophy. For examble two good debris : "When you have luck act with measure whe you do not have luck act with wisdom" and "the most unlucky person is the one who cannot withstand his misfortune".

This is a great article for those that take their poker playing seriously and hope to make some money. I would add: Find a game that you're good at and concentrate on that. Whether it be Holdem, Omaha, Turbo, Hyper Turbo, sit&Go, Multi-table, Cash, there's usually a game that we can consistently profit with. That's the game you use to build your bankroll. This will enable you to fund the occasional lapse into other interesting games without draining your account.

Very good tips.

Ones I would like to add:

Read poker books
Read online content like here on forum
Review your hand history ever so often to look for areas of improvement
Have a good startegy or routine to counter tilt when it happens.
Enjoy the game it is a game after all, have fun.

10? I dont think I would come up with 10. I can give only 2: dont burn your BR and dont tilt I guess =)
Most of the players a looked at are not bad, but they catch a downsing and try to make bomney back with higher stackes... and well that goes bad (especially on a down swing LUL). Most of the info is out in the open so getting info is not hard but applying it might be a struggle for alot of people. I can understand That having a week-month-1/2 year downsing is not ... ideal?... but tilting away in a daily500 is also not the answer... or is it? +)

If your starting out , start with low enty game, the larger tournys are enticing, with big paydays but also have much more expierenced players . Try to play sattys to gain entry to larger games
Distractions will often cause player's to make mistakes, either by playing a hand poorly or missing out on information of others at a table
Playing a single table/game ,altho maybe boring ,takin notice of ur surroundings/notes will take up that lag[FONT=verdana, sans-serif]Dont lose confidence when having a low stack, tilting equalls giving up,

One thing I like to do is save several of the hand replays from key showdowns and then pick them apart after the fact ... call it an after action review ..post mortem whatever.. but it helps me and I can figure out if I made the correct decision or if I identify leaks that need to be plugged, then research solutions, and implement them for further analysis later ...

Learn to be aggressive without being maniacal and its a fine line.

Someone above said never stop learning ... I have to say that is near the top for me ...

Lastly I would say be humble ... to me that makes a difference how I see my play ... and puts it in a more honest light ...once you have determined you were wrong ... problems are easier to fix .... for me at least ...

from the list of tips point 3 is where I am failing, I usually play many tables and sometimes I lose concentration.
that's why I'm going to play in one table, if you can :)
and of course as it says dakota-xx "Practice good bankroll management".
