I don't know either, but only you that can help yourself. just think about it as an obstacle for being a good poker player, if you can't do manage your BR and tilt then it's already game over.

Instead of people telling you "What you should do", you should ask yourself "What It Is that you're doing that's making you lose money+tilt"?

I mean If for Instance you're able to build your BR up to $500+ than ask yourself what It Is that you did to build such a BR In the first place. Than after you ask yourself that question, ask yourself what It Is that you're "Doing presently that's costing you the money that you were able to build up".

So If for an example, It took you 3 months to build up to a BR of $500+ from "Free-Rolls+.01/.02 NL (Combined), but It took you 2 weeks of playing .25/.50PLO to lose It all, than you'd notice that the problem Isn't Just the fact that you're playing a different format but that you're also playing a higher level of a different format game altogether and as such the problem Is PLO+The level that you're playing at and as such, would be easy to figure out what you need to do In-Order for you to not go busto.

look for a problem in yourself ... we can not give you advice, because we do not know what games you play, how you play ...
look on the Internet for an elementary strategy and stick to it ...
can you have a problem with discipline?

Seems like I heard you play tournaments that are no more than 1% of your bankroll.

If you have no self control in life you'll never have self control in poker. If there are things you know you shouldnt be doing throughout your everyday life, but you do them anyway, there will always be an issue with you poker game. Id start there, set goals/restrictions for yourself outside of poker, and if you stick with them then it will ultimately become easier to transfer that discipline to poker i.e. not playing above your bankroll, setting stop loss limits, moving down games during a down swing etc.

Good bankroll management itself should prevent tilt. BRM is the most important part of success at poker. The other most important thing -- and the hardest to learn -- is being disciplined enough to fold big hands (even sometimes AA) in questionable situations (e.g. on a wet board against multiple or aggressive opponents) in order to preserve your stack.

Try to play low limits until you get a bigger sequence of wins and safety, a tactic that I used and worked out was: play low limits and with profits only profits play some cash money of 0.25 and 0.50 of to double or triple the winnings and once you start earning go back to playing a few $ 0.50 to 1U $ tournaments or a nine player sit-down is a good option when you realize that dominating these games is gradually increasing.

I suggest you read The Mental Game of Poker by Jared Tendler.Excellent book about tilting: causes, strategies, etc.
To me that is a must read book about poker.
You can find it on Audible as well.

Hi, I think patience is very important, keep tighter bankroll management (40-60 bb). Be sure to analyze your important hands, use analytics software. If you do not feel like playing or are tired, do not play. The typical sign of the tilt is that you want to win back what you lost, which is coupled with anger and anxiety while playing, and that's why you play! this time hold longer pause, look at videos that give motivation.

I know how you feel you can contact support on poker sites responsible gambling section and request deposit limits and buy in tournaments limits to better control what you lose when cards and patience are running against you good luck it is very easy to lose 500 in less than an hour but if your limited to maximum buy in 50 per day for example to games it will help you minimize lossesAlso if you are completely on tilt ask support to exclude you for 12 or 24 hours this advice is easier said then done but works good luck

use 1-3% of your total bankroll at all tables or tourneys you're playing. 4 tables = 0.5% of bankroll at each.

tilt comes from loss and win, control yourself
good thing to get rid of the tilt is meditation and good music, no hard metal, no pop or hip-hop music, use classic, chillout or blues\soft jazz.
you need to have some sort of business for your soul that is not related to poker.

Yay - I'm feeling lucky my K9 won, now i've got JQ, it will win for sure = TILT
WTH - WHY HE PLAYED J6os and won vs my KK = TILT
KK, then next hand AA, then next hand AA again then next hand AK and all WIN = TILT
I'm a chipleader, I'm Unstoppable! = TILT
Poker will resolve all of my problems, i just need to play better = TILT

I think you're right; I can at least testify to that from my own experience! Good advice!

Well general rule of thumb is that a buy-in should represent 2-5% of your total Bankroll. Staying strict to the buy-in amount of games your playing is a very important aspect of BRM and defining clear markers when you have to go up/down buy-in levels depending on your performance. Like in other aspects of life, staying strict to the original plan is never easy but it's crucial if you want to become a poker pro. Regarding tilt, you do get better with experience - sometimes getting burnt is the only way to learn that tilting does no good. I would advise when you get a bad-beat and you feel annoyed, do something else briefly before playing your next game :)
