Hey guys and gals
I'm still a noob pokerplayer and unfortunately still not profitable...
but i'm really eager learing play poker profitable as a hobby. i don't want to be just a gambler.
first of all i'm playing NL2 6-max zoom tables (max. 2), so i see a lot of hands in short time. The hands i play are mostely AA-JJ, combinations from A to J and A-Xs, but then and now hands like J9s as well.
recently i learned a lot through playing/watching/reading.
now i'm realizing a bad habit/pattern i have:
in the beginning i play pretty stable. doubling my buy-in is often the case. so i think my game is OK for now. i mean, its not great at all, but the fact that i make money at the beginning steadily is a good sign it is the mindset, which is slaying me.
somehow i have the feeling i'm playing to loose or holding to long to my pockets/draws (whatever) when i'm in the profit. its really frustrating. 1 or 2 bad moves and i'm really out the flow.
do you guys have some advice? good tips?
how can i be more aware, recognize myself tilting early?
i'm looking forward to your replies!
