Sorry to hear that, it's never fun running incredibly bad.

Sometimes the only thing you can do is take a break -- an hour, a day, a week, anything you need. It will help you get back in a good mindset to continue grinding. And you can also look at it as a reset button on your luck :)

The slope is bad, but it happens. It's a game and you can not always get good cards and win constantly. If you can not play quietly and wait for good cards, it is better to finish, so as not to lose all the money, which sat at the table.

Funny how it seems the less outs that they have the more often they hit it.

You need to stop immediately. Bad day happens to everyone. I do not understand how opponents call with such cards, they just have a lot of money.

This is going to happen - both live and online - online is more frequent because you see so many more hands.

The best way to look at this is to take the loss however you may - as we all deal with our emotions differently - but then realize you are getting your money in where you have some very nice odds to win. It's nice to be the huge favorite and in the long run if you keep doing that you will win.

Be happy the fish are calling you with rags, you need terrible players to make the game profitable and if they don't ever get lucky and win they won't keep playing.

I went through about a 7 month down swing - worst I had ever been through and it was not easy to push through. All in all, I took a little time, went over my game, noticed mistakes being made but also noticed I was getting my money in very good alot. I stuck to my guns, kept at it and came out of it much happier. So don't let a few bad days ruin your love for the game.

Whenever I'm running bad I try to keep this in mind: If I genuinely believe I am just unlucky then there's nothing can be done about it and I should quit playing poker as I'm too unlucky to win. I don't believe anyone is essentially "luckier" than anyone else (some people have had more luck in their life than others but that's not the same thing) and I definitely don't want to quit poker. So now I have a choice, carry on as usual and hope I have more luck, or look for tangible reasons I may feel unlucky and try to fix it. In your specific case I would look back at all my 'bad beats', run some maths and see if my all-ins actually had a +ve EV. It could be that you didn't need to shove with all those hands, you may have had a better chance of getting value with a different play.
Basically what's easier to fix? Being naturally less lucky than your opponents or being worse at poker than them? To me it's clearly the latter so that's what I work on.
Also remember if you're all-in did have +ve EV and someone outdrew you then you were profiting in the long run. You smile, say to yourself "that's poker" and carry on. Easy, right?!

Instead of focusing on your losses/results you must remember that you did what you were supposed to.

If you continue to play correctly things will even out over time. It may not be days, weeks, months, or years, but math tells us that they will even out; if you continue making correct decisions.

Edit: peoples poor play/decisions will have you rethinking your strategies, and of course there is ALWAYS room for adjustment, but the correct decisions will get the money over time.

yes when variance attacks you and it does not let you win a single large flip it's really painful.but it's part of the game. the only solution is to stop playing and come back later and hope that this time the variance is on your side.
