I doubt that there is such a pro player.
"Tight" is ok, many of them play that way but "passive" players is the weaker group of poker players mate.

Because everywhere is written that? I think this is a stereotype.

I think it's not a stereotype .. Passive players always depend on other players .. it is not profitable in the long run. There are many books about it, mate.

So, you want a pro player that folds a lot and only limps in/calls bets with big hands?

I guess there's no one pro-player using tight strategy per game and became successfull in poker, without agression and pressing on opponent you don't get high tops.

I don't know any professional or becoming pro plays tight passive.

Poker is about timed aggressiveness because as a player, you might not catch great cards and thats when you have to use aggressiveness to your advantage.

I don't know about the "Passive" but I've seen many play the "Tight/Lag" and that seems to be working for them

Do you mean "You can't be both Tag/Lag at same time", or do you mean like "Can't you be a Tight/Lagish player"?

If It's the first that's very do-able lags, tend to apply maximum pressure pre and post, but the ranges of hands they do this with differ with-in "Lag spectrum", now the "Narrower that range of hands the tighter you're playing" and vs "Certain players you can continually be hammering with the 3bets vs them" thus meaning that your perception at the table "might seem tight" but In reality you're abusing the mess out of certain players.

Example of this would be a "Whale who continually opens up In LP, but folds to Cbets on turn a-lot of the time", thus this type of player would be a great player "For you to 3bet vs and Cbet against on flop+follow It up on turn" (As your tight Image on table would mean you have a narrow range but In reality you wouldn't need anything vs that player)

What does Tight/Lag mean then ? It is an oxymoron . Tight means selective and LAG = loose aggressive .If you mean to say you have seen others vary their play against different opponents then say that ! However that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread .

I dont think there are alot of tight-passive streamers(atleast good players).
If you play thight-pasive you fold to much(=lose money).
Even guys like this(!russian lanuage) who play 8 zoom tables run bluffs and Cbet overcards.
Most top payers understand that playing too tight and not agro will be EV- in the long run.
You can somewhat maneuver tight-passive on nl2 or some other micros were calling with a J7o for 3 streets with paird 7 is a play, but the higher you go the more often you will seу floats/probes and calls with A high or 3 pair.

Here is the reality, no matter what style you play , if you want to have a very high winrate long term, you have to do a long of folding pre during the times you go card dead. this quote more or less sums it up: "being card dead for 3 hours then only playing 2 hands, then folding both on flop cause spot was no good=lost $30 in 3 hours.

Tight passive play

Tight passive play is on the whole negative expected value, occasionally the style can win more money against a maniac that will bluff his whole stack off and will fold if you CBET but will bluff at any sign of weakness (checking)

Yeah I have rarely seen a tight-passive poker player.

Poker is about aggression and timing.

No pro would ever be tight passive because they would never a win a lot of tournaments.
