I dont understand.

1. Why there is so much min-raising going on at the moment. Not saying its good or bad but I wouldnt be doing it. It just seems to be happening a lot at the moment.

2. Why people min bet into a huge pot because you are giving people pot odds to call.

3. Why people shove there whole stacks for small amounts, yes its just the opposite of 2 but why risk so much of your stack for a small amount. Its seems crazy to me.

I see the same thing ..........
Makes you wonder what's going on.
Seems like a trend.

Some crazy stuff ............

Try to take advantage of the trend and profit from the standardized play.

Good Luck ..........

i love playing against opponents who do all these things.

You said it already. Minraisers give you odds to call. I like to (over)play suited connectors, high suited one gappers, suited aces, and the like. Enough min raisers and limpers at the table and I might even be profitable with them. ;)

The shovetard is another favorite. he is doing one of two things every time: He is either turning his hand face up (yes he holds 74 on that 568 flop! FOLD! Or he is giving me his stack. Thanks!

You are getting upset by a golden opportunity.

Min raising, check raising, bad calls are all a feature of the game at present on line. You would thing that as the stakes go up you would see less of this but in my experience it dows not change much. ou are right about the pot odds. Guys call with a marginal hand because you let them.

i agree 100%

i love the "shovetards". my absolute favorite. say you have AK. flop comes AK6, if you just check the flop, they will eventually put there whole stack into the pot just to have it taken my you lol

i love these people, they dont reallly annoy me at all

Min-raisers and shovers are huge balls of implied odds, and they're great. I especially love the AA min-raisers who underbet the flop and give you a great chance to pull ahead. And, of course, they always pay off the value raise when you hit your hand. :D

what are "odds to call"?

I tend not to over analyze my betting habits but i try to bet more than the min raise no matter what. when people min raise and im on a draw i figure "why not?" And when they go AI they set me up for a head shot. I think whats happening is good if you know how to play it.
