The one thing you'd do to beat 1/2NL players...
I meant LIVE 1/2 NL.
Typical buy in is $100 to $300.
People generally play tight.
If they go all in, they have the nuts 99% of the time.
What are the most glaring leaks and errors they make?
Folding button position waiting for ideal hands?
It seems like the best tip is to play aggressively.
Always be raising. Improves fold equity. Seems to be the key.
When in doubt, just bet or raise?
It seems like the cardinal rule of beating 1/2 is just simply play aggro.
3-bet everything and youll have EV+. ??
This is what this guy was doing, and he cleaned up.
Next time I play, I am going to bet/raise/3bet EVERY hand I play.
I am curious to see how this pans out.
What about 3-betting pre-flop? Squeeze play seems like an instant way one can start to take down more pots, and have a lot more uncontested money in the pot, by inducing raise callers to fold on the 3-bet. Free money?
