The community cards has 8,8,9,9,2.
Player A has Q,Q
Player B has K,5

Player B argued that he wins because of the 2 pairs on the board and K as the kicker. So his hand would be 8,8,9,9,K. Player B argues that the comminuty cards override the Q's.
PLayer A argued that he wins because he has the higher pairs Q's over 9's. So his hand would be Q,Q,9,9,8.

Which is the winning hand?

Anyone lucky enough to be sitting at a table with player B is a winner.

You gotta remember that the higher pair counterfeits the lower, in this case it's QQ99 vs. 8899. If this was a Q J then the K kicker wins, but not today.

The kicker would have won if the other players pair was smaller than the two on the board. Tie if both have an Ace with two pair on the board and no other pair. I had a similar problem in a live tourney. I had AK and one guy had 99. Board QQQ9Q. Quads with ace kicker wins. X

Ya that's funny, to answer your question QQ,99, 8 Is the winning hand. Player A has a higher two pair, Player B has two pair with K high.

These kind of things happen in my home games, its can last a full night, but he loses because " THAT RULE IS STUPID! " !!! Hahaha cant hate em just take there money...lol
