It's no secret that for some reason, many players in tournaments are generally absent from the game itself.
That is, it turns out that at the table of 9 people playing, say 4-5 players.
And then the stealing of the blinds comes to the rescue!
Favorite thing in the game sometimes at different stages.
Suppose you are to the left of the button.
After you 4 non-playing players, 2 tight-passive, respectively, players in the small and big blind. It's logical to do 3 big blinds. Missing players are automatically discarded. Tight ones too, because only the strongest hands play. The small blind also folds - this is a frequent occurrence. Sometimes the game continues with the button. But still it is an interesting tactic. This is just an example. I tried to explain what I see in the game very often. If you have any examples, I'll be glad to see and read them)
Good luck everyone!:D

On the flip-side of that coin are the players that are sat-out/inactive on purpose, just lying in wait for you. It happens!

You're a bit weird at all)

He's a bit right...
Deep in the tourney I always sit out when it's my BB and wait for 5-6 rounds. I can sit back at any moment and this way i don't have to fold trash hands all the time, plus it provoces people at the table to play more loose.:captain:

That's what I'm talking about! My brother does that. Seen it in action more times than I can remember too.

Can you please explain to me how they can be directly to my left and after I raise they can automatically come out of inactive. I haven't been able to figure that trick out yet. If you know the answer please tell because I am dying to find out.

I hate when people fold to a sit out.

Or even worse, when a sit out makes it to the money because online it does not fold the sit outs hand and they win the hand.

I hate when people fold to a sitout.

Even more I hate when a sit outs hand does not get folded and it goes on to win the hand to make it in the money

Could be they are just quick on the button. Or possibly there is lag on their end & while it may appear they are sitting out and they really are not -- it takes a few milliseconds for the action to reach you.

What was weird? Are you calling me weird, or that it is weird that people actually sit out on purpose and wait for you?
I completely agree with you, sometimes I do it myself.

This issue in increasing discussion can not be denied, I just think that we should not be ingersados in our techniques, we have to look to be more dynamic in the theft of the blinds, unless the situation is unfavorable. Hugs to all ... !!!

What is the name of the player who deliberately becomes offline to catch you stealing the BB?

inactive players immediately apparent and can be raised with these chips, but it is not interesting when everyone is playing, you can earn more than chips

You should always try to steal at least once per orbit so you're stack is healthy until a good hand comes. You should pay attention to the inactives but in paid buy-ins people do like to "bluff" with it as well like others have mentioned in this thread so I'd be careful to only try to steal with a hand I'd go to flop with.
