Hello. What happens, if the best combination of 5 cards can be made by the 5 cards on the board and applies to more than one player? Let's assume the 5 cards on the board are already a royal flush. Is the money in this case equally divided among the players or does everyone get the money he bet back?

It's called "Playing the board." The pot is divided by the players still in the hand -if . . . if really is the best hand. A famous instance was the 1998 wsop, where Scotty Nguyen told his heads-up opponent "If you call it's all over baby." His opponent, Kevin McBride, stated that he was going to play the board and called. It was, in fact, all over. ;)

Cheers!

A royal flush forming like that is extremely unlikely to happen. But if it does, then yes, the pot will be split equally among every player that is still in the hand.

If the squares on the board takes the player with the highest card, or the pot is split between the players if the highest card on the board or the players the same high card. Unless of course someone was lucky to collect a combination of Straight Flush or Royal Flush the pot it.

Then if the 5th card on board is higher than any card in anyones hand. It's a split pot.

If any players have a higher card than the 5th card on board then the player with the highest of those cards wins.

If theres already a royal flush then it's up to the players if they want to add in to the rake or not. But yeah, the money will be split among all the players who went to showdown minus the rake
