hello. i visit to casino two days ago. i am thinking this tell is fact and theory. if somebody raise while he is stacking chips. i always think he has good strong hand. when people are very busy stacking, they will fold any hand unless they have strong hand they never can fold. person sit right of me won big pot before getting queen pocket. he raise when he is not finish stacking all chips.

i fold pocket 9 pre-flop when big stack person raise big when stacking. he holded pocket queen. i learn this tell by my own. i never find this tell on caro tell books.

this is my opinion i think is good knowing for future. do everybody agree?

Could be true at times.
Careful that someone doesn't Flip the technique on you.

Good observation.

Continue watching every detail and Remain Focused at all times

Good Luck

Interesting! I do that too, but my range isn't just pocket pairs like QQ and KK and premium hands like that, but it's a little tighter than usual on average.

you might be on to something, but for my i just simply dont play 2 big hands in a row.. if i win a really big hand it would have to be a monster for me to play the next hand.. but thas more of a superstition than a tell

Me too. Brunson has another view though and he is nearly as good at poker a I am. He reckons that playing a pot after winning big is good because your win in fresh in everyone's mind and people may think you are on a rush.

I see you read caro's Book of poker tells . remember that the book is very outdated . yes its a good book So alot of people have read it and if they think from observing you that you are using decisions based on that book then they could give you false tells all day or night long..

Observe your every player on the table for awhile before you get into a big decision(big pot) before you act on that tell your talking about. Meaning If you just sat down and in the first 5 minutes you get into that situation that tell in caro's words might have a less percentage of accuracy :)

Well I just noticed interesting thing, that when someone is reaching for the chips before is his turn, it ussualy means that he is going to enter the pot.

So sometimes I use it , when I dont want people before me to enter the pot, and it works :))

You also have to watch on folks using tells against you. I know when I flop a monster I sometimes blink like crazy and cover my mouth after I bet just praying someone thinks Im bluffing.

i know this is in his book unfortanately i can't find my copy of the book. but another big thing to look for while playing live is players who arent in the hand. eg if on a QQ7 board you see someone shaking there head you can figure they had a Q.

This is a good tell most of the times!
If people are busy and still want to play a hand then it is a good one....
Similar as they are eating and still want to play their hand....

This is a great tell !! It makes perfect sense to me. And the more I think about it, the more I have seen it play out.

Yeah, whenever someone stops what they're doing (eating, talking to a cocktail waitress, etc...) you can be fairly certain that they aren't making a move with garbage.

I will flip this tell in a limit game though. Firing out a raise while stacking chips from a big pot can be intimidating and get some folds. Just make sure everyone sees you look at your cards!

I have always found tells can be tricky if the player is toying with you. I agree with JJ48, be careful.
