Anyone remember Chris Ferguson's rules for bankroll management? I thought the way he laid out the rules was a little confusing and left much for interpretation .. Anyway, I'm going to try to adhere to his rules as best as possible... Was wondering what are some of YOUR requirements for bankroll management? Thoughts?

If you do a Google search about it you will find what you're looking for. I use a very conservative approach when in comes to BRM but it works for me.

100 buy ins for regular/deep stack slow speed games

200 buy ins for turbos

500 buy ins for hyper turbo.

That's just me though, this way I won't go broke unless I get amnesia and forget how to play the game but also gives me plenty of room to play my game and take alot of thin risk to reward scenarios

Wow 100/200/500 buyins is a really conservative approach :D

Personally, I always have at least 50 buyins... :)
I like te be a little shallow :D

Man you guys are nits with your rolls. I've always been a 20-30 guy myself and once I hit 20 I'm taking shots at the next level. I was always striving to play in bigger and bigger games though.

But I mean I never would've gotten any play at the bigger stakes if I waited to get that many buy ins. There were a couple sessions where I put 10%+ of my roll on the table cuz there was a juicy player in the game and I wanted the money he was gonna spew out.
