Hey all !
Lots of beginners type about how they can concentrate or keep attention during long tournament, so I decided create this thread to gather all advices you can give to them.

What I can say?!

1. Be ready for a Long treap.
2. Try to not distract from poker (close social networks)
3. Change hands range level by level (do not wait for Aces).
4. When first break start stand up and go walk through apartment.

So, lets share your thoughts. Write here your advices.

What exactly is hand range level?

Hand range - are the cards you play with.
For example: standard MTT tournament with 10min blinds.
In a few first levels I often play loose with hand range near 55+, A7s+, A9o+, QTs+, KTo+
In the next 4-5 level I will change this range and will start play more tight 99+, AJs+, KQs+
And this pocket hands I will change in according of situation, If I know that someone bluff on me, or this player is a Fish, I will try get cheap flop and strengthen my combination.

If you play fewer number of tables, try to focus on each one. See how your opponent play, how do they play, try to makes some notes about them if necesary. This will help you later, in other tournamets when you play with same guys. Of course if you use HUD, there's no need for that

Just as I said. Try to pick up some thing from other players. How much they raise if they have a good hand, what sizing do they use if they bluff etc. Of course you can't do such thing if you play like 10-12 tables at time, but if you play on 3-4 tables try to focus on game, find weeknesses of your opponents and use them as an advantage. Try to adjust to each table with style of playing (passive, aggresive etc.) so you can make your game better.
