Takedown

In my conception, Takedown, is the probability one has to make your opponent fold. Example: BB is super nit, I am in SB with the same amount of chips of him and everybody has folded until the action reaches me. I can shove as much as I want against this opponent, because my takedown rate is good (my stack being able to eliminate it) I know that my Fold equity rate will be very high, since he will only call me with a monster hand and fold all the rest. But to calculate fold equity, other factors like features of the opponent, notes, game dynamics and etc., will be important as well.
