thats what you usually see happening in tourneys when they or you get below certain number of blinds. you got no choice. there is no strategy much. too late for that.
You've got some 'rules' here what to shove, and what not to shove with. What very important is here, is to look if theres a raise before you or not. If you have a monster hand it doesn't really matter what happend before you. But if theres no raise K9s is already good enough to shove imo.

You can write a book about short stack strategy. Strategy is very important if you're shortstacked. You can look up things on youtube or articles about short stacks. Theres a lot of it!
With this aspect of poker no one ever wants to be in the big blind with a short stack late in a tournament. I still will see what he action is and depending on my hand make the best decision. If I have a good hand I will play it slower to get the most chips since most of the time they will think I am stealing. If I have a medium hand I will shove and gamble. If I have a crap hand I will check if it comes to me, and if it is raised depending on odds I might call....
