re: Poker & survival in full tilt omaha freerolls
As said above sitting out is not really a good strategy.
Shamefully I have to admit that I've done it twice and floated ITM.
Both times I was so terribly tired that I hit the keyboard with my face at 7:50 am.
I discussed a rule of thumb when to sit out and float with divebitch in another thread relating to PS - though that was a round 1 freeroll with 99 qualifing for round two.
If you must sit out for one reason or another it may be safe being in 13th position or better with 55 players remaning (this counts for FT Plo).
Nevertheless you'll never win the FR by sitting out, obviously.
Cashing 2$ might not be worth playing for 3h just to sit out the last hour.
It would be way better to improve your game and really take it down.
Finishing 39th isn't a bad start either, you may have potential.
...as you can see I was too tired to shrink the screenshot and couldn't delete it either (too drowsy to find the button)
...and I finished 8th..... lol.
