Surprising trivia fact (well surprising to me)

Question: which hand is the worst hand you can have in headsup poker?

If like me your answer is 72o well then you are wrong! With a winning percentage of 35 the 72 hand beats the lesser hands when there is only one opponent. The hand 32o has just 31% wins. In fact that even makes 72o a better hand than 32s! And even with 3 opponents 72 is no worse than 32.

Not of any practical value I know, especially if the opposition holds a larger pair, but still a decent surprise I think.

Makes sense that the lowest two unsuited cards would be the worst hand heads up. Though I do find this somewhat suprising on the surface, as there are more ways to make a winning hand with 32o than 72o. But I guess since 7 is higher than 3 that 72 would be more powerful. 7- 2 o is the lowest ranked hand , but under computer simulation of a million hands 2-6o ranked 169th, 2-3o ranked 166th, and 2-7o ranked 157th.

I usually fold these hands anyways

23o is the worst hand in a HU situation.

72o is the worst hand when all players have cards and the board is simply run out.

Yes 32o is worse because the 7 kicker is better lol.
And fullring 72o is the worst hand ! Heads up it´s 32. I knew that !
