I've had some questions going about playing suited connectors in late position. Lets say you are dealt 67s in the CO, should you limp or come in for a raise. Also, if you do raise, depending on the opponent type what do you do if you are 3bet.

Suited connectors need multiway pots and high implied odds.

So its better to just call if a 2 or 3 players are in the pot before you.

In late position with everyone behind you folding, I would be very inclined to raise as a 'semi-steal' its sort of a steal, sort of a value raise. If the blinds fold, great!

If they call, you may hit the flop.. if not you have position and have shown some aggression preflop, so a c-bet may take it down.

If the pot is 3-bet after you then its better to fold unless you feel its extremely likly that your opponent will stack off a lot of chips even with a visiable flush. Once the pot is 3-bet its likely its going to be a head up flop.. you wont be getting the pot odds to call if you get a flush draw.

Do you mean fixed limit? I would just call, to get better implied odds in limit.

Fixed limit.. you should be thinking more of folding unless you are absolutely certain both blinds will call. The implied odds are hugely reduced in fixed limit so you need to rely on pot odds.. and you will need 4:1 for each street

For me it really depends on my position and the size of the connectors. If I am in the late position or SB in your example Ill raise 3x the BB. I may or may not call a re-raise depending on the size.

Depending on my table image and depending on how well I know the other players, I might come in with a raise as a 'semi-steal' especially in CO. If not....limp in.

Nothing better than a cheap cheap call with the perfect flop = big payday. Easy fold but you just never know. In the right situation, I'm in with both my fingers and toes crossed.
