One thing play & real money tables have in common, focus on how you are playing & your decision making, the results are pretty much irrelevant, actually at play money tables, they are totally irrelevant. Losing is part of the game, you win, over time, by making intelligent decisions. The next card in the deck, is out of your hands. Extended losing streaks happen to all, if that's not something you can deal with, may as well quit now.

I see your point. Thanks for your reply. I'll keep at it. :)

Follow some live game rails here. Or play live, home games maybe. The beats you see live will help to keep the idiosyncrasies of the game in better perspective.

In other words: It happens.

There are players who win a lot constantly, live and online. There will be a reason for this. And it is not called luck or rigged.

If you constantly put your money in with the best hand you will win. It really is that simple.

Will you win "today", most likely, but maybe not. There is variance, but the math makes things right in the end. The problem is you don't know what the villain is holding of course so are you putting chips in with the best hand? That is the skill of poker. Not only winning when you have the best hand but also winning when you do not using c-bets, re-raises, bluffs, ect..

like the others said it just happens , it's part of the variance of the game , don't get worried , at the beginning I also was feeling very bad when I was seeing my full houses losing to quads or sth worse much more rare (I was playing/betting all my money on full house on cash games and seeing four 3 or 6 (I emember exactly the hands )made me feel like a sucker/ idiot ),later I got used to it , now it makes no matter to me , so get used to this , play your Agame , feel good that you did what you should have done (right moves, bet sizes , ) and go on . :) good luck

You know I do try that but everytime I try to bluff or re raise I have always gotten called. Mainly after the flop. So it there a more effective strat to post flop bluffs?

Obviously most of us want to play the best poker we can, but if you read OP again, he was commenting on bad beats, which is why my reply was about his topic. Maybe I should make myself clearer.........

Bad beats happen. People who play online sometimes think it is a rigged site or w/e. (See OP "Like wtf????? Anyone understand what's happening??") Hence my suggestion to follow live games, or play them, where a software dealer is not a thing. The same beats happen live, and seeing that can help you see it is just a sad and frustrating part of the game.

A couple of other things: Online games happen at a faster pace. You see more hands/hour. So you must watch out that you dont get selective memory and only remember the (more per hour) beats, and forget the suck outs and/or well played strong hands. Play money games do not relate at all to real money games. You will get tons of callers when you raise, and you will get played back at with trash, because many people dont care. It is not real money.
