Yes we know! when you study everyday you start to grow up step by step in a progressive positive line.

The key question is, what to study? read a book, a article or watch a video about poker ?

Post here what you use to study.

I am right now watching Andre Coimbra $10 - $1000 challenge on youtube.

I think experienced is best way of learning poker, by watching you can see others mistakes but when the same situation hit while you playing lives you will forgot that video learning to act wisely.

I think that watching how other players play is useful for understanding poker.

No no no! Just education will not turn you into a great poker player. Playing every day of your life will help, and of course all great players loose alot before they win alot. Trust me been there and won the t shirt. I have played for 13 nearly 14 years, I started playing on pokerstars in 2004 and I can now say I'm a winning player. Took me a long time and was not easy

Study is absolutely important. Harrington might be good for starting but I think it is dated for a lot of the more advanced concepts in today’s games. I don’t have a good suggestion but you should always have some degree of study, regardless of how long you have been playing, if you’re already a winning player, etc. mathematical and statistical concepts are a good place to start, learn basic hand ranges. This can be found pretty readily.

The internet is full of great stuff to read. Back in the day I read through the Harrington books and they were my favorites. Now I tend to watch youtube videos of both instructional and real online play.

I play a variation, usually start of with heads up, spin n go and 2.50 180 player turbo sng. I am really good at play short handed so I do well. Then I play tournaments with my winnings, for example Sunday millions, Sunday storm, big 11, big 5.50 ect. I like the small bounty builders too. I stay away from cash games, rebuy tournaments unless I'm doing a satellite. Oh and of course the cc freerolls, I have been doing ok at then, had a few final table finishes, recently 1st, 2nd twice, 3rd and 5th. 😀
luck at the right times is better

My technique

When I started getting into poker and wanted to learn how to get better, I went to youtube and watch various poker shows and tournaments to learn from the pros and learned a great deal of things from them such as terminology, strategies, and most importantly when to fold! This worked for me so if you want to get better you should try this too.

Asymmetrical approach, unbalanced, irregular, this keeps my game from having a fixed system process; this will keep the process fresh against others who are working on a better version of a fixed system approach.

Balanced approach is an unbalanced approach, an asymmetrical approach to keep opponents off balanced because most have a fixed system thought or approach to other opponents.

Having a game to study that includes learning new words, words to describe emotions in many different ways using them as verbs, nouns, adjectives as some examples.

There are about 6000 words to describe emotions; does this mean there are 6000 emotions?

This would depend on the definition of emotion because the words could be linked into a sub group, that could be defined through just one word; the person’s objective would then dictate the end result or the means to an end?

Using psychology, philosophy, with a tilt towards theology, these words, actions from words through chat, that back up action from the esthetic game will be used as weapons against opponents.

A person can read books, use videos; other esthetic ways to form a better system of thought, but understanding people, then understanding people will only be able to reproduce what they are capable of, only to be true to the nature of who they are, at any one time.

This fixed system is not a hard one to break, or put doubt through words in chat that invoke the nature of what keeps them from producing at any one time?

The fixed system will produce positive expectations however; the people who have produced money from a fixed system, have already won money, and then write their stories in book, or videos’, then sell this book, video to the public for consumption?

Already my reply could have anxiety in the content, that is leaped into the minds of fixed system thought, about a playing a fixed system?

In real time, at the table my words will funnel the player's thoughts, who is a dis-believer into having a conversation they are not capable of having?

Because of fixed system thought of words to reply to what? The nature of who I am at any one time, this approach, my game is waiting for this conversation.

The game is a conceptual one, in real life, life is a conceptual existence, concepts, theories is the best one can start from, because of the game also being a sum-zero game, a game of miss-information.

What information the person will fill their brain with will come out at the most inopportune time that will define the nature of what they are?

A person can follow the fixed system process or lead their thoughts into a greater existence that will be greater than themselves.

My philosophy, my game will find a spot in your game that the mistake will be greater than your ability to know when you are beat.

Then pay off the best hand, my hand, with a strong second best hand, a sub-optimal strategy from a fixed system.

The rest is just waiting for these moments.
